Rintaro Imaizumi (Sota Fukushi) is a detective at the Kuramae Police Station. His goal is to join the First Investigative Division at the Metropolitan Police Department, but he gets transferred to the 2nd Public Relations Division at the Metropolitan Police Department. The department handles press relations for the Metropolitan Police. Rintaro Imaizumi, who doesn't like reporters due to trauma from a past incident, is uncomfortable with his new job, which requires having close ties with reporters. in his corner, he has Naoshi Ando (Naoto Ogata), who is the chief of the 2nd Public Relations Division and supports him from behind the scenes. Naoshi Ando has a past story related to an unsolved case.
