But surprisingly the story is very interesting. The plot is good, the chemistry are good, I love the storyline. I love how the characters here mend each other in their unique relationships. I almost watch any K-drama, some is very good, some is good and some is not that good , yet I always watch it till the end. But this one.... I find this K-drama extremely boring (for me). The female character makes me uncomfortable and gets on my nerves. I think it's a slow, boring, insubstantial, convoluted, and pointless drama (the plot is easy to understand, but I still can't find any logic in a large part of the events/actions). To emphasize: I'm referring to my personal taste Despite everything, the actors do a good job, but I don't see any chemistry or comfort in their roles. I get that some of yall hate the fl characters but i kinda of understand what she been through. Yep agree with the so small storyline of baek do young. But i love them all so much. Also this is the 1st time im seeing lee jae wook acting so cute and i keep repeat the scene every time he does his mouth cutely and he looks so adorable. I truly like both male and Female lead it was good that they solve they trauma and rely on each other sora Dec 10 2025 12:57 am First, i decided not to continue this drama. the female character made me annoyed. until eps 6 she decided to date a character who is close to the main character. wtf are you doing girl?. this is really crazy. if you are a person who is tired of seeing inconsistent characters, too ambitious or maybe the character doesn't heal and even always blames others, I don't think this story is for you. their acting is very good but not with a very confusing story. I thought the relationship of the secondary couple was very powerfully done. The relationship of the main couple definitely became sweeter. Maybe the ratings would have been higher if the script had them confessing love for one another earlier in the drama. I still liked the drama overall and I was never bored. Jalana Dec 06 2025 12:52 pm Honestly, Last Summer falls apart because it leans on a tired, unnecessary love triangle that only exists to drag the plot, and it forces the FL into acting immature and overly emotional just to keep the drama going. Her inconsistent reactions make the ML look worse than he is, while his emotional shutdowns turn simple issues into big conflicts. Instead of real character growth, we get recycled trauma, miscommunication, and contrived tension. And none of this is the characters’ fault, it’s the writers and production team forcing bad tropes and messy storytelling, not the fictional people inside the drama. That would help break the unhealthy relationship she has with Do Ha. Start a healthy new relationship with the lawyer. He obviously cares for her. I don't agree this drama is boring. It is difficult to care about the characters because nothing happens. There is no real tension. I would like to see the lead female character have a good chance at romance with the second male lead guy, the lawyer. That was how highly competitive professional people converse, probably that was the depiction the writer of the series tried to convey. The characters are supposedly highly intelligent, competitive,and all other awesome qualities. FL, ML, the lawyer, and those people in the office during the meeting. They spew out awesome words effortlessly. Impressed with the way they communicate. I think the male lead character is playing head games with her and it's actually He who is annoying. He keeps inserting himself into her life when she obviously doesn't trust him. The lead actress reminds me of both Han Hi Min and Han Hyo Joo at times, lol! She's good. I also love the dog.
