The corrupt one was with Eugene’s house sometimes. The other two the president elect. The first daughter was unguarded. Even after altercation and framing at school. Why she was at a school the evil uncle had authority over when the first part of the series they mentioned distancing themselves from that brother is beyond common sense. He is a sadistic man and neither like the guy. Korea sees presidents and former presidents assassinated, commit suicide and go to prison. Very few escape prison and die a natural death. Three secret service for the family? And they didn’t even tail him at a distance? The public watch a group chase a girl down the street and do nothing? The whole country knows the girl being chased. How bizarre. There are cameras everywhere why would they? Not just CCTV but every car has a dash cam. Episode 9 went too far with the violence. And what the heck is the brother chairman of? He clearly didn’t have a knack for office. Kristine Nov 03 2025 10:24 pm MT he is the legitimate son and she is the illegitimate older half sister. I could not be more disappointed. The president elect of a country that has a history of presidential assassinations and corruption puts two guys on the president elect, one on his legal wife and none on his daughter and none on his potential daughter? And the security lets him go wherever not even following at a distance? And only 3 guards for the entire first family? The one bad guy held the woman claiming to be president elects daughter until she passed out, before. Then has that guy shadowing her and she has several chances to tell someone she is being watched and in danger. But does not. They spend eons talking in a warehouse with poison air instead of getting out. There are multiple windows. A smaller room that seems sealed from the gas in the larger area they could flee to. The door that is blocked has a ginormous window. Already partly broken. The Darwin Award lost. Climb out of it. And why did the ceiling cave in a little and then more? Did the fire just go out? What made the ceiling suddenly start to collapse? Factories in rural areas have no strong roof. It’s all a metal sheet at best. What heavy thing could have trapped them inside? No using a cell phone to call 119? for an ambulance to get your daughter taken care of or for help to arrive. No rush to ID the culprit so they know who did it would they not want the sadistic SOB in a cell? Survival skills nonexistent. And why is Eugene not in custody? She participated and then was part of the cover up. Blaming the media is interesting given she fed them the narrative. He is alive but what is the point? He said he would step down if he or his wife to blame for the fire. Eugene admitted to being a party. His acting was on top except for the script toward the end. And they never resolved the divorce process that began. And three people were not the hit and run driver. Why did the series show us Eugene, Secretary and Housekeeper all doing it? When the secretary ran her over she landed on the top of the car. Does no one know to call 119? It had promise in the beginning. And the con people selling her outfits after infiltrating her closet didn’t get theirs in the end either. surprise daughter killed 2 people and no justice. The wrong person went to prison for the motorcycle. Why should her mother get justice? What about the kids that were tormenting the first daughter? There should be cameras all over the public space. The girl running is a person everyone knows and actually people were seen watching the group chase after her. It must be on camera. And the worst part when they went through the arrest and charges not once did they mention kidnapping the other daughter or attempted murder of the three of them in the factory. If Eugene has evidence as she said at the committee why was she was upset at the safe being opened and items stolen? Were there several writers all taking turns? It only says brother arrested. He will get off. Why let the daughter attend a school where the brother has any sort of authority or power? Dumb parent award. He was someone they tried to distance themselves from at the start of the show but why is their daughter at that school? I agree with the comments saying everything doesnt make sense and lots of plot hole. #1- 1st family doesnt even have bodyguards protecting each of them and the pres elect himself only has 2. #2-Yang hoon's assistant has always been with him — doing everything he wanted so as taking a beating from him when he's pissed so it doesnt make sense for him to turn his back off after doing what he was told to do. #3 - pres was announced missing only to be found in the same location eugene left him lol. Idk if s2 is possible due to it being tag as mini series. Eugene and Ji Hyun Woo the only reason I keep watching this show but the last ep really disappoints me. For starters you're telling me the President-elect of South Korea has TWO bodyguards with him the whole time and then can ditch them when he wants to? Really? The First Family has no security presense whatsoever? Really? Half of the stuff in the final episode could've easily been avoided if the director actually had common sense. Surprised I actually went the distance and watched all 12 episodes. I Should be rewarded for that alone. The lawyer Seung Ho doesn’t look like one, the production could have done better for him, just my opinion. Thanks to Eugene, she made me continue watching this show. I've always wanted Eugene to play this type of character, so I'm quite pleased. dewe Oct 16 2025 9:57 pm I'm really enjoying this drama - Eugene and Ji Hyun-woo are superb actors! however it has one major issue that may be the reason it's not more popular - is Cha Soo-Yeon a hero, villain or anti-hero in this show? People probably came into the show thinking she is a wronged party, but after a while, I'm left wondering if we should root for her, or she is the root of evil in this show lol. I am through episode 2. Just when I think I know the villain it turns out to be wrong. Love the twists. I have a few beefs. He is candidate, then President elect who had an incident attacking his wife and still no security? No secret service? And can the press actually storm a hospital like that?
