Ma Gwang-Sook (Uhm Ji-Won) works as a section chief at the Shiwan Post Office. She is 45 years old and single. She meets Oh Jang-Soo, who is CEO of Eagle Brewery, and they decide to get married. But, only 10 days after their marriage, Oh Jang-Soo gets into an accident and dies. Ma Gwang-Sook takes over the brewery and becomes the breadwinner for her 4 younger brother-in-laws. She has a cheerful and lively personality, which helps her persevre.

Han Dong-Seok (Ahn Jae-Wook) is the chairman of LX Hotel. He was born into a wealthy family and has never lacked anything, but having lost his wife 15 years ago, he lives his life with loneliness. He is also arrogant and has a clear opinion on what he thinks is right or wrong. He meets Ma Gwang-Sook.

Robert Aug 29 2025 11:32 am I missed this drama already just ended 2 was ago. I give lots credits for taking time to make appeals on those brothers singing during the wedding. The kpop brother a least like amongst brothers sang the best. Kpop being on the high geared it makes lots of senses put a high lighting the scene rather than a quick glance.

On Mr. Oh( the last brother) , I am so glad that his relationship with the hotel' s daughter was on the scene. I think they could have expanded a couple more scenes to layout their relationship. Han Bom it looked she has strong chracter.Her screen times were so short that I don't recall to much about her. She looks strong control of emotions & a person weight. I like her.It was good match with Mr. Oh.

My favorite couple was professor Beom Su and Seri. Even Seri's father was saying that he was some what about uneasy front of him amongst other brothers. The professor is one those people very much in self control & very thoughtful Of course Seri is lot more expressive & emotional while management well & when to express it openly.

The elder brother couple. I like this couple very matured & lots of respect. The woman somewhat reserved but i like her a lot. Her self controlness.The guy actually is lot more emotional and much more expressive.They could have showed a couple more episodes of their relationship after marriage to see how their relationship plays out.

California Aug 17 2025 7:57 pm In the drama "For Eagle Brothers," I would select Uhm Ji-Won and Ahn Jae-Wook for the Best Couple Award. They skillfully showcased their acting abilities by depicting a couple those relationship evolved from facing accidental and challenging situations to becoming a vibrant and loving pair. They effectively portrayed how couples should behave during disagreements and the importance of resolving their conflicts. Their collaboration seemed authentic and persuasive, and their outstanding performances illustrated that they truly embodied a remarkable couple.

I was truly impressed by Uhm Ji-Won's ability to convey her emotions in a manner that perfectly aligned with the sentiments required for each scene, as directed by the scriptwriter and director. For instance, she radiated charm and captivated those around her with her irresistibly cheerful smile and magnetic personality. In other moments, she adeptly showcased her determination in achieving her objectives, and at times of distress, she managed to elegantly present an atmosphere of endearing and empathetic warmth.

Although all the actresses and actors performed admirably, she stood out as the exemplary star of the drama; without her distinctive presence, the production would have lacked the essential "crown jewels" that contributed to its uniqueness.

Mel Aug 16 2025 11:08 am I love this show - truly, a great family weekend show. And Hani was so adorable and cute. I agree with the comment about the Chairman and Gwangsook having a baby at their late age. It's too Hollywood and in my opinion, too damm selfish. Before the child is a legal adult, he\she is already burdened with looking after 2 senior citizens. I have a few friends in that situation and all of them said it is something they wouldn't even wish on their worst enemy. So please stop glamorising it. Kwriters seem to love to ape Hollywood without giving too much thought to it.

There are 2 things I loved, HaNa was the star of the show. I would love to see her behind the scenes And how the Eagle Brothers showed so much respect for Ma so much so they sang at the wedding (yes I cried). I hope we have another family drama like For Eagle Brothers, thanks to everyone involved with this production !

When the kids are in Kindergarten he's going to be about 60, yikes!! Playing with the kids he's probably going to do face plant like at the driving range. The kids in school will think he's Gramps instead of Apa. What about Mr. Go having a Baby too. Anyway's pretty entertaining, never a dull moment for the Oh brothers

Rochi Aug 04 2025 10:44 am Disappointed that after all the hardships Seri and Beomsoo went through to be together, the writer and director didn’t care enough to give them a proper proposal scene where they weren’t standing five feet apart and allergic to each other. It felt so rushed, and they didn’t even get to say I love you after everything. Seeing that they only had her dad accepting their relationship in the last half of the finale, there was definitely no chance for an onscreen wedding so I farewelled that idea. Seri still called Beomsoo professor till the very end which made it heavily unromantic as she hasn’t been a student nor his student for 10+ episodes. Heavily wasted potential for the chemistry the two actors had.

Kristine Jul 31 2025 3:27 am HaNis mom. Has that been resolved? Taking a month… They never properly set the stage for that. All secret surprise I am a dad. Second brother eons to split. He could not have sorted out divorce that fast if married and custody would not be quickly decided. In no county can a parent just declare if you leave this house today you can never return to see your baby. This whole thing goofy. Is she going to try to team up with Seri’s dad and Seri’s dad make amends with Eagle by double crossing her? What does temp babysitter have to gain with this nonsense. Why can’t a 23-25 year old, maybe older woman raise a baby. Why can’t HaNi see her mom regularly on the legit? There is no way a mom can just hand over custody forever in such a limited time frame. The child can’t walk yet. She was already months old when living in U.S. Visitation the norm now. It’s not so one sided even in Korea.

Is there anyone who doesn't want her boyfriend/fiance to kiss her like the main characters does? I'm ready to not watch the end.

hularock Jul 28 2025 5:18 pm I appreciated that there are 4 more episodes just to wrap it up. You can already see the disagreements between the brothers and wives when Gwang Sook leaves. I always think I don't need the wedding to be the last episode, I want to see what happens next. As for the other characters and their stories I think they had enough exposure but as far as giving anyone more time for storytelling, I think it isn't necessary there were enough coverage that is why they have a support role. Let that happen for a spinoff. From start to finish it was just great to see, I haven't felt like this since the "good doctor". I will take a rest after this as I don't think I can watch anything else without comparing it to this. Everyone acted well the story was well written touching on every facet of life and I appreciated this drama.

Dreamyblue Jul 28 2025 3:27 pm Disappointed with the writer trying to force nonsense plots as we head into the last week of this drama airing. CEO Ma has never expressed the desire to become a mother and in fact sounds very concerned about a geriatric pregnancy, but of course everything must go the Chairman’s way. Their relationship had potential to be great but it got boring watching CEO Ma look heavily disinterested in the relationship with Chairman pushing everything. The writer should have used the extended 4 episodes to focus on the younger Oh brothers as they haven’t been too lucky in the screen-time department basically throughout the entire drama.

The writer did well with Chunsoo and Misun’s relationship and story building. They had enough screen time where it didn’t feel forced and I feel like their story was good from beginning, middle, and now the end, however I hated that the crazy ex-wife appeared in so many episodes. On the other end of the spectrum we have Heungsoo and Okbun’s relationship and story building which in my opinion took way too much screen-time. I still question why the writer decided that Heungsoo out of all the brothers needed two love stories. At the deepest pits of the ocean, Kangsoo and Bom’s love story, one that had amazing potential, but with Kangsoo’s limited screen-time as well as Bom’s, it went nowhere.

Lastly, we have Beomsoo and Seri. I have so much feelings for their storyline and I personally loved the angst and ups and downs of it all. I think their story was a big slow burn and the whole forbidden thing was chefs kiss. Love the chemistry between the two, and I don’t think their storyline is forced at all. I’m just very disappointed that the writer has taken so long to eliminate the problems that is preventing these two from being happy and as we’re heading into the last two eps of the drama, I get sad at all the potential that was wasted :(

Kristine Jul 22 2025 12:49 am I hope actors who play hotel children get some really good roles. They were given very little screen time. And that made no sense. Piano teacher got more time on screen. The ex wife he had not seen in a decade and the have not seen child for a decade got more screen time and lines. No follow up on the repeat stalker. Is she safe? Will the brother enter a relationship with known since kdg fellow doctor? The mother of his late wife who lives in the U.S. and visits once a year got more screen time. I think the art professor may have more lines. Gosh.

pt Jul 21 2025 5:55 pm Love this drama. Here is my take. Such a beautiful and heartwarming story. It made me cry at times looking at their beautiful bond. Things I don’t like are .. Seri and professor love story. Seems very forced and no chemistry between those two and first few episodes the actress playing seri was ao awkward that i had to ff her scenes. Later episodes she appears to be improvised. Bom and kang soo love story should have been started at the beginning not sure why writers ditched their story. Would have been much better watching these two than the professor and seri. Everything else amazing about this drama

Robert Jul 15 2025 6:22 pm I agreed with Stella' comment that the hotel ceo's children should be playing greater role or more air time. Their pursuing of relationship and their career could make the show even greater. At the beginning of the show their some scenes, but it got dropped altogether.

The last son, oh gang soo, he is very fortunate that he ended up in a good home. Typically in real life the scenario like this the kid ended at abusive home. It is because of his love/healthy background he is enable to process lot more peacefully as his biological mother. It is is still in process. I am looking forward how ! he will relate to his sister Seri. I have some feeling that it won't be smooth sailing sa his relationship with his biological mother. Professor explanation of happened to Seri was very well done. Seri truly loves the professor. She proposal to depart from each other's 2 times. One time when the risk of losing Hanni( the baby). 2nd times what her parents did to eagle brewary family.

Stella Jul 07 2025 9:49 am I think this drama is unfair to actors Yun Joon-Won playing the role of Han Gyul and Kim Seung-Yun playing the role of Han Bom. Of all the casts, they were not given airtime as much as the other supporting casts. To think they are the children of Han Dong-Seok, the main lead. They should have pursued the love angle between Han Gyul and Dokgo Se-Ri instead of her pairing with Oh Beom-Soo. They are only giving a love angle between Han Bom and Oh Kang-Soo now that the drama is almost over. Just my opinion.

Robert Jul 06 2025 7:01 pm It is getting better and better. Let's start the last scene first. The last brother grabbing Sila Brewry CEO's hand saying don't lay hand' s on my mother. Man! That was very touching. My tears ready for burst. Ph Gang soo by now figured out that Jang Me Ai is her mother. I really lookforward to how Mr. Oh will relate to his mother. I think he will relate to his biological sister Seri will be much smoother. I look for to that relationship that as well.

The first elder brother' s relationship is turning interesting. His ex-wife did fess up why she wanted to get back with him, because of their daughter. I sm glad this came out. But the continent store owner seeing the two hugging won't be helping to advance their relationship. The elder brother and continent store owner probably is a great relationship based on mutual respect and mutual love.

Hotel CEO' s mother in- law. I love it. They really picked the right person. She is sternly, elegant, class& beauty. I really lookforward to see how The CEO will go through this aspects.of course in law is everything she shouldn't be hearing about MA Gwang Su. She being gold digger and etc. How MA Gang Su will be relating to hotel CEO s in law. I lookforward to that as well. It seems like MA Gwang Sue and Hotel relationship is much more matured and secured setting.

Kpop brother & beauty shop ceo. From what I could tell he is reacting from external activities rather than his internal desire. Once he makes formal proposal it made give us more indication of what his relationship to her. They did a good portrait of kpop brother a type of a person who is almost all external not much of self inspection.. Maybe this is a reason the beauty shop ceo is so much drawn to to him.

Professor & Seri are probably my favorite couple. I really like both of them as an individually. The professor very thoughtful, emotionally tuned but very much under control. ( I want to be just like him) Seri she is quite( strong emotion/ good management/ discerned affectionate)

I would like to see lot more of Hotel ceos children screen time & their relationships. They are too much of sideline. I like to them more of main roles.

Hair dresser can tell idol who not to date and the piano teacher to not date him. But he can’t tell the vet not to date her or her not to date the vet.

Idol can’t marry piano teacher if she divorces and put the daughter on the registry. But 4th brother has a baby and can partner again and youngest is adopted and treated the same as the rest. A treasure?

They really have ignored Bom. She reminds me of Yeon Tae in Five Children. She could have a really good career ahead of her. My favorite family drama.

A shampoo commercial. Plug for the toast business. And more… The commercials inside Kdramas are really irritating.

Also why would Chun Su allow that snake of a wife wonder around in their home when she has been known for her lack of honesty? Rooting for Seri who has shown her strong character and persistence.

Let's go reverse direction in terms of my comment At the end of episode 36 MA Gang Sue running out, Lyx CEO calmly asked her what happened to her. I like hotel CEO. He wasn't impulsive. He grabbed her hand & pulse. I thinking he was giving self time & thinking about what to say to her families/ or brothers. On this specific scene. Immediately tears welted up on my face. Hid genuine love & care of her. I was moved very deeply. Wow! I say. I love that.

Ironically the person most ostentatious upset MA Gang Su relationship with hotel CEOxwas kpop brother. This particular brother has least understanding of himself & his relationship ( beauty shop ceo). He lacks depth and characters hip in my opinion. I don't know his elder brother actually physically beat him up. All these male siblings it not unusual to get physical with each others.without proper parental guidance there could be abuse. Yes, I know it's a k- drama. I kind of seeing writing on the walls.

I thought there would be lot more stories from the Hotel ceos daughter and son. By expansion of their stories there could lot more episodes. Of course there is unfolding of Silva Brewary's biological son The way it got disclosed wax bad, but I agree that given Oh Gang Soo 's age he needed to know his root. I love to see Mr. Oh embracing Seri as her sister ( excellent match as sibiling) & love to their pursuing of their romantic partners. Seri and professor they got lot more to go. The elder brother, I really like continent store clerk. She so mature and understanding. The seemed like already married couple. I get the feeling the elder brother is still considering the relationship due to the child. We/I need a little bit more background story to make a proper judgement. Wow! I really enjoy this show.

Korea is usually a winner take all country. The thing is the mom left. However I think the child should be raised by the mom and dad. Period. HaNi should see both parents regularly.

She seemed to be born in the U.S. How she could leave for Korea interesting. Unless he got her Korean passport. Both parents needed in U.S. for passport.

What Korea really does not do well with is step parenting. Which is why it made no sense SIL was shocked when hair cut woman said the married woman might out her child on his registry. Her other BIL has a child. Will potentially remarry. Was the writer drunk?

Robert Jun 09 2025 2:43 pm If I have to describe the drama in one word, pleasure or enjoyment.It feels like I sm watching several dramas at once. It is in a good way. Let's take a look:

1) I really enjoy MA Gang su and lyx hotel ceo. Bother of them have very strong personalities. The way they approach each other's funny and awkward. I.e, the hotel ceo was hiding when MA Gang su mother came into the room.i didn't think he would do it. He liked her so much that he did it. BTW, it took him very long to know how much he likes her. He had sudden rapid heart beating whenever he encounter her. He had no idea that it is because of his liking MA Gang su.

2) professor & seri, wow this is separate drama in itself.The professor kept his feeling managed very well. I really like his calmed and measuring way of communicating in general. Seri's parents ayha, where do I start. I like the mother of Seri. She does have conscience vs. Her husband. She treat Seri to much like 5 years old kid. I appreciate the dram showing her genuine love of Seri.i find it hard to believe that Swri give in to lots her mothers preferences instead of her. I.e she wanted to pursue piano instead of voice singing.Seri is very likable.

3) The older brother & continent store clerk. It is very nature relationships despite both of their respective divorces. The guy has slight playfulness despite maturity and seriousness.it is very caring relationship.

4) kpop brother, this person is least interesting. I am not sure where this relationship is going as the beauty shop ceo is seriously interested in Animal doctor. Is he interested in her genuinely or passing jealousy? It is hard to tell.

4) The last brother. Ironically he is very much like Seri ( biological sister) Finding his root and his romance should be interesting.i hope this drama runs for a long time. I look forward to every eposiodes as well as rewatch multiple time. It brings lots of joy as well as ? tears.The some scenes of genuineness of love and caring are very moving.

Erica Jun 09 2025 5:59 am I don't know what Korea's law on child custody is. There are countries that give child custody to the mother when the child is under 7 years old. If this is the same in Korea, Hani will go to her mom.

I know this is just a drama so I guess they will not follow the law. That means Hani will be with his dad. What I really hate is that Seri will be her mom. I am against Beom Soo and Seri's relationship because of what Seri's parents did to Beom Soo's family. Imagine, Beom Soo will be in-laws with people who did wrong to their family. But as I said, this is just a drama. It doesn't depict reality.

Someone lost her husband after 10 days, you all asked her to move on but she disagreed. She stayed rebuilt the brewery, supported everyone of the brothers and literally served them but now she can't live her life? It was so annoying to me when she started apologizing. For what? What did she do wrong? I hope the vet ends up marrying the Ok-boon. So heartless and insensitive. The nerve to disgrace her in front of the woman who cheated on his brother and left him. Nonsense and ingredients

He was in favor of Oh Beom Soo and Seri to have a relationship even though her parents stole money from their family but he is against the Chairman and Gwang Sook's relationship? They were not deceived, it's just that they didn't say it from the start, is that a crime? If I were him, I will support the Chairman and Gwang Sook's relationship and not of Beom Soo and Seri. The crime that Seri's parents did is unforgivable. Ok, they Seri is different from her parents. Maybe now yes, but in the future. She has her parent's blood. I hope Gang Soo will not discover that Jang Mi-Ae is his mom.

Angie Jun 01 2025 9:33 pm @Josie - the name of the actor who is playing the vet role is Baek Sung-Hyun. His latest drama was in KBS too last year, daily drama entitled Su-ji and Uri and his female lead in that drama was Ham Eun-Jung who is currently now in the KBS daily drama Queen’s House.

International audiences dislike workplace and family violence in all forms. We also hate stalking. It seems everyone is stalking everyone in this drama.

I realize there is only one acceptable family unit and all others are lacking. How is it shocking the music teacher had a baby? Did they notice 4th brother has a baby? Five Children did tons better in this. Also I Love You with same actor attempted it as well. In a small way. It was 20 year ago.

We can get comedy, family, romance at all. Main couple here are so fun, he keeps mistaking her , misunderstanding her situation. He is super loyal man to his passed wife, what a man, but can he suppress a new love? I don't think so. Hehehe. 50 episodes is so fit for many characters like this

AJ Feb 20 2025 8:34 pm Early signs are promising. Perhaps we're due for a long weekend KBS2 drama of the same quality and stature as "Once Again"? Still a long way to go, though. I sincerely hope that this drama will not fall into the "damsel in distress" storyline, like many other previous equivalent dramas. Also, less focus on Seoul-centric (or metropolitan-centric in general) settings would be welcome.

It qas really joyful to watch this newlywed getting into each other's without over doing it. Han Dong very thoughtful and caring of his siblings. All of his siblings struggling in their private ways. Han Dong did such spectacular job as husband, I hate to see him dying of the show. Ma Gawng great acting ! No doubt she will have some type of relationship with the CEO. The who ripped of MA Gang' s wedding dress. From what I could tell, he likes a woman who challenges him not being intimidated by him. I really look forward to the next episode. It is pleasantly enjoyable!

iwanz Feb 11 2025 7:53 am i have reached episode 3. huaaaaaaa so sad and also so warm. finallyy, a veryy really good weekend family kdrama. it has been long time since kbs produce warm and fun family kdrama like this, it feels like Five Enough and Father Is Strange. all the brothers are sooooo kind , they are so good to their sister in law. compassion and kindness ,are points that hold family together. not divided by greed or inheritance. KBS should make this kind of family drama, it is better to make warm, fun family friendly kdrama like this. i want to watch more
