To get a critical clue on catching a notorious murderer, Detective Han-Soo (Lee Sung-Min) covers up another murder. Rival detective Min-Tae (Yoo Jae-Myung) senses the coverup and he chases Han-Soo.

The sea Feb 07 2024 10:49 am This story is so nerve-racking !! Han-soo just want to find a murderer of high school girl..and he is trapped by his informant which is chunbae !! That b*tch purposely shot the drug dealer when they meet ! So she cannot be caught by policee! in my opiniom hansoo didnt want to cover up it, since she know something about the informant he have no choice to cover up it..he also got used by chunbae as an Alibi... of course he will become suspected to assist the murderer. And for other, which is Min tae, that guy just jealous over hansoo, and try everything to catch him..he 8s blinded by his own desire to be promoted..he even interested to catch hansoo so he will got fired or whatever...abd he will lead the unit or promoted..in this case, he didnt interested to caught suspect, but busy to make han-soo down. That crazy !! I mean, i understand both of them is doing their job... and have their own problem, or different action in solving cases. Han-soo use a method which is little bit agressivee..as you all can watch how he deal with the suspect related. Min-tae is also want to solve it, according to their rules and mostly want to be promoted.

King Pup 1722 Jul 25 2023 10:25 am The movie is non-stop and relentless in its pacing. Both Lee Sung Min and Yoo Jae-Myung are excellent.

The story makes us see that Sung Min’s role is tactical and reckless in how he carries out his job, and is willing to break police rules in order to get the job done. While Jae-Myung is portrayed as a strategic thinker who sticks to the rules. Both men dislike each other, and are competing for promotion.

The twist in the story is that, for all his recklessness, Sung Min didn’t backstab Jae-Myung when he could, while the seemingly more righteous Jae-Myung schemed his way against his rival and even let him bleed out instead of getting medical assistance.

It’s definitely one of Lee Sung MIN’s more outstanding performances and it’s easy to see why he’s become one of the best Korean actors today!

Kathryn Nolan Dec 17 2021 8:45 pm I understand the French film upon which this is based, but I love the twist of this version. The integrity of the 2 leads is really the question, and you can make your mind up who does the right thing. It's a moral dilemma of Greek tragedy proportions, so who wins? Lee Sung-Min and Yoo jae-Myung were both exceptional and made this film as good as it is.

Jang Apr 24 2020 6:12 pm Is it just me that think min tae planned all these? He used the two informants to "trick" han soo and to "get rid" of han soo? ? Damn, the beast is Mintae, not the 미진 grandpa. Great actor, Interesting plot and great cinematography?

Gripping enough to keep the viewer watching, although, considering the circumstances under which one of the lead characters is working, the ending is perhaps inevitable. Nevertheless, a good remake of Olivier Marchal's original 2004 film 36 Quai des Orfèvres. Recommended.

wayer Mar 28 2020 9:03 am hansoo (team 1) covers up a murder in order to catch the psychotic serial murderer. mintae (team 2) found out about the cover up and he did bad in order to catch hansoo. such a betrayer huh, then i understand why the chief said that mintae has no integrity. he was obsessed with getting above hansoo that he lost his focus to catch the real psycho-bas****; while hansoo goes all out, even involuntarily abetting crime in order to catch the culprit. movie is riveting and that was such a tragic ending.
