me too, nado, me too, nado Oct 10 2023 9:15 pm recently found this drama cz am always searching for old dramas 80s 90s 00s they are very much different than the dramas of today watched the whole thing in 3 days simply cz couldnt stop everything was so perfect the writing the story the actors the acting the sad bg music not only that i kept watching the first 4 epi over and over cz of the lil sisters everytime i see young tae hee sad and disillusioned face i just couldnt help it and start crying her acting was superb so real also young yun hee was so good and hilarious playing cinderella in that school play she adamantly didnt want to try on the glass slipper when the prince asked cz it was too small and hurt her feet so much in rehearsal hahahaha this drama already has a special place in my top 10 list in 15 years of watching kdramas almost daily along with first love (1996) autumn in my heart, winter sonata and about 20 of the tv novel series never counted them but it has to be several hundreds or closer to 1000 thousand wowow cz more than half i never finish them the 2 adult girls were as good as the young ones and so pretty the adult girls played exactly as the young girls and I can tell the casting people did an immense job to make these girls looked so much alike as young and adults special mention to sojisub magnificent appearance and the whole cast was awesome too and I hope I can find another one like this so keep searching hahahaha my ratings 11/10 oops I think I gave them more than the max but they surely deserve it thanks a lot for this wonderful drama

me too, nado, me too, nado Oct 06 2023 7:17 pm just watched this recently and yes from 15 years of watching kdramas more than 1000 probably almost daily this one won a place in my top 10 list along with first love (1996), autumn in my heart, winter sonata, etc already classics of kdramas and the ones that started the so called korean wave mostly from 80s 90s 00s so am always looking for those dramas from those times and lucky me found glass slippers the first 4 epis were the best when taehee and her sister junhee were lil girls everytime i saw taehees sad face full of adversities i just couldnt stop crying and the school play of cinderella was so hilarious junhee didnt want to try the slipper when the prince asked her cz it was too small and her feet hurt so much in rehearsal omg omg that was so funny the lil girls acting was so fantastic the same for the adult girls thats why i love this drama so much sojisub was also incredible good and sad in all all the casting were perfect and the story was so perfect too no dull moments that made me fan of the writer this drama was so perfect for me 10/10 and big applause to the writer

Rosemary Sep 13 2023 4:38 am Watched this drama again because I love Kim Hyun Joo. Her role as Sun Woo is too angelic, her annoyance subsides within seconds never catching her angry. A bit hard to understand her character. Always thinking for others!

Tae Hee on the hand is rather selfish and quite overbearing, perhaps one can understand her because she had always been in charge and taking care of her father and little sister.

Jae Hyuk was blinded by revenge or he would have realised that he would eventually hurt his true love relationship with Sun Woo. Naive simpleton Chul Woong. Felt sad for what he had to go through.

Oh, what a heart rending drama!

Park Min Nov 08 2022 10:58 am I'm a huge fan of older drama but this one missed the mark for me. It was unnecessarily over-complicated for every relationship in the show. For every character and relationship the writing was good enough just to fall flat and flop around episode 11 without being able to recover at all. You may think the reunion plot-line of the sisters is the main focus but unfortunately it was given the bare minimum of attention, even the climax of their reunion was underwhelming. If and only if the ending was slightly tiny bit better. It just felt like this type of ending that they went for was unwarranted. At the end, it was too big of a let down, not a single thing went as I hoped for. At least let the bad guys win just to spike some interest in the drama. He died because of that lowlifer was jealous. What kind of writing is that?!!!!

I asked my friend, who is an anthropologist, and he confirmed to me that Lee Seon Woo is a newly undiscovered human species; they may resemble conventional modern humans but they differ with one particular characteristic that is their empty cranial cavity. Truly a spectacular discovery, how could they function? A mystery that would never be solved.

luvkimjiho Aug 20 2021 11:46 am Lately, I have been rewatching this drama. Absolutely rooting for Kim Ji Ho since I watched this drama and Tears in Her Eyes. I started to become a big fan of her here.

It has been 19 years...wow! She acts so well that I am like "As I watch the drama, I know she is actress Kim Ji Ho. But, no she is not. She is Kim Tae Hee (Yoon Hee's sister)." In another drama..."I know this is Kim Ji Ho. But she is totally different when she acts and plays her character." In every drama and movie, she becomes a totally different person as per drama character. Realized more and more that she is such a talented and veteran actress over the years!

Haven't seen her in drama series since MBC Happy Home 2016 but seen her in latest movie Hard Hit this year. Miss her lots! And expecting to see you again soon, especially in drama series! However, staying safe and being healthy is the priority with the pandemic going on. Ah...fangirl problem. Hehe.

Can't stand...ugh Jan 19 2020 1:50 am This drama was depression written all over. I was seriously annoyed by Jae-hyeol for using Tae-hee despite knowing her feelings for him. Luckily for her, she's an independent, strong, and smart woman. Yun-hee was pitiful. Sorry not sorry. She is sweet and caring, but she stupidly used Cheol-woong once she found out she was sick. Jae-hyeol was also a pitiful character as a lead. All he wanted was the company and thought he's so slick but once the grandpa found out his scheme, he deliberately forced himself to marry Tae-hee. I feel bad for Tae-hee for falling for a lame guy, but I loved her character. In fact, she's the only one I liked in this show.

PT Mar 07 2016 3:49 am I started this drama for the sake of kim hyun-joo and so ji-sub. As the drama unfolds i was more attracted to the characters rather than the actors. I was rooting for those two however with each passing episode i was drawn towarss su-o-woo and JHJ. I had tears in my yes every time i see this couple. The ending is worst. Why would they let so ji-sub die?? Horrible..instead they would have let seon-woo die with true love for JHJ in her heart. She was about to marry cheol-woong. And the marriage never happened. They atleadt have let seon-woo and JHJ together. I felt as if my heart was broken. Tae-hee should have been more understandable to reunite seon-woo and JHJ which she never did in the end. Poor JHJ. At the end of the drama I realiazed, whatever the extent we like the actors one cant followm their shadow. Its the story that kept me drawning towards the characters. The pain JHJ eyes..omg. My heart broke thousand times.. And when cheaol-woong learnt seon-woo decided to marry him to run away from JHJ i felt so bad for him. All I wish was a happy ending for JHJ and seon-woo. The writes broke my heart.. I have no words to curse them

Dest Dec 24 2015 1:42 am Oh my!!! Did not realized the characters in 'Glass Slipper' until now!! It was my absolute favorite but was dubbed in a different language which threw me off realizing who the real actors and actresses were. Glad I found the drama! Old time classic and will never forget it (:

tan Oct 03 2014 6:27 am s darkened, so be sure to be safe rather than sorry, and don. Taking this drug with coffee or tea is not advised. A solid piece in neon and pastel is what makes color blocking elegant.

I absolutely adored it even with the sometimes-over-the-top storyline, the one-sided-love of each character (except for Yeon-woong & Seo-joong), the deep and sincere love of chul-woong for his seon-woo, the love and commitment of a sister to find her younger sister, even the pitiful and evil sung-hee who kept this drama on its toes, really. Yes, I admit, that through the tears and sadness watching the lives of chul-woong and seon-woo unfold, the affection and love of chul-woong, the heartache and suffering of soo-woon.. amazing, absolutely and this drama kept me glued to the screen. So Jiseob, I continue to adore you and again you have perfected your craft in making all females around the world, sob, cry, and cry some more. Kim Hyun-Joo, you were absolutely amazing and so endearing. Youre pairing with SJS was beautiful, thank you. I especially adored Kim Ji-Ho's character Tae-hee. Loved your character, loved you as an actress, brilliant, thank you. So, though it has taken me until 2014 to finally embrace Glass Slippers, I have no regrets. Kahmsamnida, FIGHTING!

Chakita3 Apr 30 2014 1:19 am Okay, even though I have only just started watching this drama..I have found it very very sad and so frustrating. I am appreciating the young actors very much. The storyline is everywhere...its so frustrating. I remember seeing this as one of SJS dramas but because it had 40 episodes, was not too keen on going through so many episodes just to have a sad ending..(yes, I cheated and watched the ending FIRST!)..Its 2014 now, and I have told myself to watch it. I adore SJS and always have, so because of that, have decided to finally finally watch Glass Slippers....So far, its been a tear jerker, and its so so long, and some of these characters...OMG Really!....So, I will return once I finish this drama (if not sooner) to submit my thoughts on Glass Slippers as a whole...SJS FIGHTING!!
