Shy and naive Naoto (Gaku Hamada) gets a week off from work after he inherits a sake brewery in Japan. He decides to go to California to find his ex-girlfriend. Meanwhile, Sebastian (Eugene Kim) is Naoto's brash cousin. He lives in California and spends his time blogging against Asian stereotypes. When Naoto arrives, Sebastian takes him on a road trip.
