Set after the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, Shiori (Asami Usuda) and Kenji (You Takahashi) are a married couple. They both work at a same small factory together and hope to have a baby in the near future. One day, due to co-worker Takumi's (Takahiro Miura) mistake, Kenji dies in an accident. The factory is also hurt by Kenji's death, as orders fall and the workers become devastated. Meanwhile, Shiori blames Takumi for Kenji's death, but she falls in love with Takumi after he keeps asking for forgiveness.
