- Actor Kim Myung-Min was originally cast in the lead male role, but dropped out of the project. The movie was originally scheduled to begin filming in early July, 2013, but was delayed. Kim Myung-Min is scheduled to begin filming for movie "Himalaya" in late summer/early autumn and had to drop out once filming for "Kang Ho's Childbirth Story" was pushed back.
- Actress Koh Joon-Hee was offered female lead role in the movie but declined once filming for the project was delayed and investment problems became apparent.
