Ichiro Okino (Kippei Shiina) is a new manager at the Ikebukuro branch of Niito Bank. Ichiro happens to restaurant owner Nami Maekawa (Sei Ashina). Nami is about 30 years old, beautiful and a good businesswoman. She is also a widow. Ichiro falls in love with her at first sight. To impress Nami, Ichiro approves her business loan. He also makes frequent visits to her business and gets closer to her. As he gets closer to Nami, his relationship with his wife Yoko (Narimi Arimori) becomes more distant.
One day, Hideki Kuwayama (Ken Ishiguro) enters Ichiro's bank office. Ichiro Okino and Hideki Kuwayama graduated from same university. Hideki is now the director of the bank here Ichiro works. In order to attain success, Hideki married the daughter of the bank president, but Hideki still has affairs with other women. Hideki then meets Nami Maekawa and Ichiro's relationship with Nami deteriorate. Ichiro soon plans for revenge.
