Miki Kakuta (Nana Eikura) graudates from a second-rate university and scores a job at the top company in her field. Miki then becomes an OL ("Office Lady"), but things turn for the worse for Miki. After a few trivial errors she becomes the target of bullying by her co-workers (even endures a fake webpage made about her).

Her immediate boss Yukiko Sano (Yoshino Kimura) gives Miki the cold shoulder, co-worker Marika Tachibana (Anne Watanabe) acts as her friend but makes jokes about her behind her back, senior employee Shota Nakahara (Jun Kaname) seems reliable but Miki realizes that she should keep her distance, and her head boss Seichi Kirino (Naohito Fujiki) is absolutely indifferent to her. Through all of this Miki decides to tough it out and not run away from her job.

Nathalie Apr 21 2015 1:06 pm I actually liked the plot and it's end. It feels realistic in the way how it ended.

The guy wants the girl who's not been bullied, weak, ignored...it's jsut something in people. All guys i've asked says the same.

Not every ending can be the kind of "I've got the guy, things happened and now we are back again" and i actually think nakahara is so human you can get things move on, wants to take responsibilty for everything, he listened to his mother about the part that he deserves someone who sacrifice work for him instead of the other way. And Anne's character shows she actually deeply cares for him...just that how she handled everything to get the guy was so wrong and unfriendly and stupid in any way.

She's somewhat comes of confident as she was able to steal him away, and that is never good! but people like that exists, and the guy usually shows that he can't think for himself so he either likes the drama or just fall for the one creating a scene...i've been there so.

Actually i cheered for Miki and nakahara at the start, but after everything i changed opinion to "well, the nasty girl and him sure fit together" he did that usb thing and she all other crazy stuff aswell to miki. Sometimes people find the right nasty soulmate when they do their things. Usually when your suppose leave you or get insecure, just shows that he so is just as stupid and nasty so they fit each others.

Miki is to innocent for nakahara anyway

Clarkdale44 Mar 29 2014 11:11 am Nice drama, shows the worth of having good friends at workplace. I liked the performance of both main male/female lead. It shows how cruel is the outside life if you don't know how to deal with it.

Don't read further if you have yet to watch this drama:- Well, although i liked it very ,much i am very disappointed with all the office staff. They all were bullying her for no reason, since that photocopy incident. Also Anne Watanabe, although i liked her performance yet i hated her character, even in the ending she deserved much more than what its showed. She locked Miki in the freezer on purpose, she could have died there if it wasn't for Nakahara, who got there on time. She even lied about pregnancy, and said it was a mistake. Nakahara should have divorced her. She basically stole the guy, even after learning the truth about her, Nakahara decided to start over with her. WTF!!!

Anyway its great drama, i will recommend it.

I will give it 7/10(Nice casting, good cinematography, nice plot)
