Just the delay of the sequel has made many fans lose interest/patience and they have moved on with the satisfaction of the original. Although it is a drama with one of the highest tv ratings, the expectations and desires of dramas nowadays are different than 11 years ago. Just by looking at a current popular K-drama sites like Vikee, you can clearly see the lack of viewership in general for even the original. I can see it being a bit like Faith where she is helping people where ever she goes. I wish they would commence with this program and stop stalling. I then watched 2 more winners from assorted years. I was blown away at quality productions coming out of Korea! Jewel in the palace was the first drama i watched. It was the best story i have ever seen on screen! I have seen 98 Korean drama's since. Jewel in the palace began a lifelong addiction to Kdrama's. I have also developed a strong interest and love for the Korean people and culture. I have learned to read and write hangul, but I don't know enough words to communicate in Korean yet. It is my dream to someday visit Seoul. I love the Korean magic that has made the world a better place! A sequel is only going to spoil what catapulted me into K-Drama Obsession. *sigh* Guess they are adamant about making more money and thinking they can re-create the magic that was Dae Jang Geum 1.
