Plot
Holding a shaking hand with another hand, a former pickpocket confines himself in his
apartment. He doesn’t talk to anyone for long. There is only one woman with whom he
communicates. But is she his lover or apprentice? He seems to be isolated from everything.
However, he acts in an odd and serious manner as if he were scheming on something. The
way he reacts to the old man living next door looks suspicious, and so does his hesitative
response to her suggestion. What’s more, her actions and words are not quite clear as well. Is
she telling him the truth? There is a lingering uncertainty between them. What is their way
out?
