Plot
Twice widowed Pil-nyeo vows to become self-sufficient. To this end, she takes a job at a coal mine. There she is tricked by the supervisor and raped. Feeling that she has no one to turn to for help, Pil-nyeo continues to endure the abuses of this man until another victim takes matters into her own hands.
