Manami Ogawa (Fumino Kimura) teaches at a high school. She was raised by parents who were conservative and strict. She has followed their wishes, including becoming a teacher. She is currently dating a man who was introduced to her by her father. The man has proposed to her, but Manami Ogawa has hesitated to say yes, because some of his past remarks has bothered her. She is not happy at her workplace either. There are unreasonable parents to deal with and some of her students don't pay attention during classes. One day, she hears that one of her students has been deceived by an unscrupulous host. She goes to the host bar where he works. The host is named Kawol (Raul). This is how they meet for the first time and their relationship begins.

Izzati Dec 05 2025 9:43 am What an amazing drama! It's slow, but hits all the right places for me. The characters have layered personalities, the portrayal of friendship is great, the humour is sweet and natural, and the actors are superb. They all have good chemistry. The story is also very realistic, given the trials and limitations of each character. I loved this so much I watched my favourite bits twice right after watching it the first time. It had been years since a drama made me feel so much. I bawled my eyes out every single time I watched it. This drama may not be for everyone, but it's simply perfect for me.

Renwa Aug 31 2025 8:33 am I wasn’t sure what I thought about this drama when I first started watching it but something quietly visceral made me come back each week for more. It’s a slow burn drama that got to me. Glad I stayed because this “simple drama” is a stunning piece of work in the narrative and acting of the FL & ML. The actors, Fumino Kimura & Raul take hold of their characters’ hidden emotions and never let go. We are taken on a journey of discovery & risk taking where each discloses their most sensitive vulnerable selves. I dare say as I think about this drama, I get choked up and tearful at its beauty and message. Despite seemingly occasional expressions of loud feelings, we get to meet gentle authentic souls. A very worthy watch.
