To update the road view where an unidentified figured was filmed a filming crew, including Soo-In (Kim Hye-Yoon), head to a reservoir. There, they face something in the deep and dark waters of the reservoir. Soo-In experiences a series of mysterious events. Ki-Tae (Lee Jong-Won) heads toward the mystery of the reservoir with Soo-In.

Movie title Salmokji is the real name of a reservoir located in Yesan Country, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea.

Melur Bungan May 20 2026 7:31 am People watch Salmokji for the plot. While me, I watch it for the editor transition. I love the camera angle for this movie. The transition is superb !!! The editor team ! You guys nailed it at first part of the movie. Even up to the transition of the male actor from office to the lake is mindblowing ! Dear director, take care of your videographer, editor and the teams very well. I actually not enjoy the plot but I enjoy the cinematic of your movie. It does not dark like other haunted movie. We can see the ghost face clearly is one of the amazing lighting for a haunted movie. Keep it up !
