Lee Ji-Hyeok (Jung Il-Woo) is a competent person, who is recognized both in work and love. He is proactive and cold-hearted, but he also has a sense of humor. Lee Ji-Hyeok looks glamorous, but, after experiencing the lowest point of his life, he finds true the meaning of life. He has people around him, including Ji Eun-O (Jung In-Sun) and Park Seong-Jae (Yoon Hyun-Min). Ji Eun-O has a bright and cheerful personality. She works as a cafe manager and an interior designer. She never loses her passion even during difficult times. Once, Ji Eun-O had a crush on Lee Ji-Hyeok and she was rejected by him, but, even after that, she still stays by him. Park Seong-Jae is Lee Ji-Hyeok's friend. Park Seong-Jae, who grew up in a wealthy family, is relaxed and well mannered., but he holds a deep loneliness feeling inside. He feels a sense of connection with Lee Ji-Hyeok and his family, but Park Seong-Jae is torn between love and friendship.

Febrylian Yovita Apr 15 2026 9:14 am I rarely watch long dramas, but I enjoyed watching this one. Every character is interesting. And the story is quite realistic and relatable to everyday life. Even Lee Sang Cheol's role as Ji Hyeok's father is very interesting and very fitting as JH's father. The ending is quite wise and there is quite a lesson from this drama.

I would have wished the writers had the son or his mother connect with him after hearing of the scandal of the property liens. I don’t believe she abandoned him. Watching dramas. They just dispose of the woman. And another takes her place. And legally only one get custody. The first drama I watched touched on step family situations in I Love You 2008. The country still had not gotten its act together. It tried again in Five Children, the same actor starred in that one. That is one of my favorites. Twinkling Watermelon she was taken by men in a car and removed then another woman walked into the house abusing the poor thing who was deaf not letting her use sign language and trying to get her to talk like everyone else. And they never followed up with what happened to the actual mom. Nor seemed to care about her once she was criminally removed.

This goes the line of the wrong Young Lady and Gentleman storyline of locking her in the house while several adults and kids are aware and no one calls 119. I get you marry the family. But even his own had no input for the marriage he was about to enter. I expect family pushback drama at word of marriage. But dating? Seriously? Most hated ML, written really weird. Not saying it’s the actor but the way he is written.

I know it gets slightly better but I have to say they wrote Ji Hyeok to have the worst personality ever in a ML. Really it would more comfortable for him to talk down to her and her speaking to sunbae than both using polite speech. What a jerk. He is a jerk to his friend keeping the man from killing himself. Gasp, he gave you money when he left home and was a zombie! My criticism is the writing and directing of the character. Not the actor. I liked her in Sky Castle. I think they wrote Seong Hee a bit over the top as well. I don’t like her acting or how they wrote and directed her character. Seems phoney and forced. Maybe it was intentional so the audience would know she is a villain? It was uncomfortable to see a grown sick man abused. Her adult daughter abused. Her step son abused in younger years with a dad unwilling to stop it. Honestly her husband a villain too. Who made him God? No proper apology to children. The punishment is she gets half. Shame on him. He does not get to get her back to suit himself. Lock her up for the laws she broke. 21 episodes and no relationships? I know it gets faster paced later, but the first 20 could have been done in 10. I liked My Golden Life. How is this the same people behind Our Golden Days? Who takes a job for 3 weeks? Who quits doing it fine? Would have liked to see more between halmeoni and IL. I like the woman working the cafe, the coworker with the headphones doing the website, Woo Jin needing an organ, the driver/body guard, halmeoni, oehalmeoni and Eun Oh’s mom. Why is Woo Jin missing from cast? The actor played him so well.

Areda Jan 28 2026 2:56 pm Love the series, but the ending was very disappointing. Would have loved to see Ji Hyuk and Eun Oh getting married. Eun Oh being pregnant. After all that they went through you left it up to my imagination. That was not fair to the viewers who stayed and watched the entire 50 episode series. Even the second leads had a wedding photo. But your main characters didn’t. Come on! Show some gratitude for us watching the entire series.

Zeila Jan 27 2026 9:45 am Was looking forward to a drama with Jung Il Woo, but this was not it. Was more interested in second and third couples. The connection just was not there between the leads. The heart thing was just too much and dragged on and on through too many eps. The last ep was horrible. They just fast-forwarded 3 years and Boom...2 marriages and a baby. Young couple still not together? That made no sense. Then we have to go through the father's death in detail? This is the way they ended a 50 ep drama? So disappointed.

Why made Jihyuk fall sick when he just began making money and having peace of mind to the extent of beginning to have relationship with his father. I don't know why the writer just enjoy killing Jihyuk's grandma and father not allowing them to enjoy at all when Eun ho's twins with little or no screen time get to live. Writer, you didn't end this series well at all I can't watch the ending now

We all know that the heart condition of older people is not the same as the younger ones. He even had cardiac arrest before he donated his heart. This is so heartbreaking! They should have use other younger characters like Eun Hoo’s twin Han Woo Jin. Of all the character in this story, Lee Sang Cheol’s character is the one I pity the most.

Jihyuk Apujii best actor of all time and Omma. They did all the heavy lifting acting.

Worst storylne for Seong Hee and rich dad. Who ever thought of it gives an impression that it's okay for couples to stay in toxic relationships forever. Wnen you think about Seong Hee's deception could have had a redemption arc.

Where is Woo Jin? Just took off with a healthy liver.

Jiwan and Yeongra my favorite.

We get a good ending for Subin and Seongjae.

Kopiko Jan 19 2026 6:39 pm From watching the trailer for episode 49, it seems like Lee Ji-Hyeok will die. Ji Eun-O marries Lee Ji-Hyeok in the hospital and spends the wedding night there. I'm guessing that the final episode for a happy ending will be the birth of their child. Similar to the ending of East of Eden (2008) when the male lead died.

I like Lee Ji Wan and Park Yeong-Ra's onscreen chemistry and their "Friendship" as much as Lee Su-Bin and Park Seong-Jae's story. I come back and watch "Our Golden Days" only because of Lee Ji Wan and Lee Su-Bin, also veteran actress Kim Hee-Jung, keep up the good work Shin Soo-Hyun and Son Sang-Yeon, bravo, bravo, bravo :)

Evil mom story became more interesting as she fights back. I like that she's consistent and did not want herself to be pitiful.

Mel Jan 04 2026 12:29 pm I think this writer is really rather sloppy. when Subin first pursued Seonjae, he told her that he is a divorcée. She was surprised & asked if it was true. She said nobody knew about it. He replied that only Jihyeok knew. but today her mother said to him that is a divorce and nine years older! SJ didn’t reply “Oh how come you know about it “. LOL.

I think Yeongra was being very insensitive and being rather like her parents. She overheard the conversation between Ubin and Euno.  yet she went to Euno and repeatedly mentioned “ our mother and you’re my sister”.  come on She was doing so well. The writer has made her take 10 steps back.

I saw the preview of the one clutching his heart, so I now know who needs the heart transplant. Oh dear please don’t give him the wicked woman’s heart. I don’t think anybody wants a heart so evil.

Mel Dec 28 2025 9:22 am Why did dear Grandma have to die? And such a distasteful way of disclosing it. The scenes implied Mum had died. Then we find out it was Grandma. Are we supposed to feel relieved it wasn't Mum? Noo, both women were well loved. Grandma and Grandpa Kim had meaningful interactions. why get rid of both of them?

Writer once again showed her sloppy work. Boa said she had a difficult time getting Jihyeok's phone number. haha, after he threw his phone away, his family and friends could not reach him. Boa was the first person to call him on that new number. And now, the writer forgot that scene and revealed her sloppiness again. Very careless.

Subin thinks she's all there. She said she isn't like Jihyeok, in that she is not interested in Seonjae because he's rich. That may not be the case now but that was exactly the reason why she chased after him in the first place. It was Grandma who made her channel popular and gained her many new subscribers. Now let's see if she can maintain & increase subscribers without Grandma.

Seonjae's Dad is a snob. He thinks his family is so much better than Jihyeok just because he has money. One is a real family. the other is his greedy, wicked wife making puppets out of the children. By his blind indifference, he is also to blame for the situation the children are in. Is he so blind that he doesn't find anything wrong with their situation? I am not going to feel sorry for him when he finds out what kind of devil he married.

Mel Dec 08 2025 8:01 am Jiwoo saw his Mum working and went off on his Dad. He had no right to do that. Firstly, he didn't check the facts and just assumed. Secondly, even if his Dad knew about it and agreed to it, that would be between his parents. He has no right to tell them what they can or cannot do. Especially not the right to throw money at them.

It was a good idea for the siblings to jointly give their parents allowance. However, I think Subin was being condescending when she said unlike Jiwoo, she and Jiwan thinks their Dad will be hired as an electrician. Of course, he will because this is a family drama. But in real life, younger, more skilled & exp people find difficulty finding jobs. It's a growing phenomenon all over the world. Subin has no real life experience and shouldn't talk as if she knows so much.

And what! Subin had been receiving allowance from her Dad. I was so disappointed in Papa when I heard that. He has different rules for his sons and his daughter. How old is she supposed to be that Seonjae calls her "kid". They look about the same age. She was only a few years younger when they showed flashbacks of the past. Not like she was a toddler or baby during the flashbacks.

Jiwoo's Mum asked him to move out because Dad had been tiptoeing around him. How to mend their relationship then? Dad is already so sensitive and will misunderstand further. Dad has also started tiptoeing around Mum. Is she going to move out too? LOL.

Dad also needs to learn to let go. There comes a time when the relationship between parent and child changes. There is a role reversal. The adult child offering emotional and financial support is showing his\her love and honouring the parents. Dad needs to learn how to age gracefully.

I miss Grandpa Kim! Loved his interactions with Grandma Okrye.

Now that the cat’s out of the bag, I bet that vindictive Seong Hee will try to destroy Eun Oh, even though she’ll still most likely do the surgery to save her previous friend and now brother. And when she finds out about Eun Oh’s relationships with her stepson Seong Jae and Ji Hyok and remembers who Ji Hyuk is, she’ll escalate her campaign to undermine Seong Jae and seek to ruin Ji Hyuk’s company along with his brother. A totally evil character.

country bumpkin Nov 23 2025 3:46 am have never watched kdrama seriously talked about toxic relations. irl, sadly have met with so many people who are envious, wanna see bad things happen to you, basically a venomous type, where only years later, after it was too late, you just realized that the person was bad. Looking back could only regret what took you so long to realize that. Unfortunately , those types are very close to you. And you dont know something call gaslighting, belittle, and many other terms until few years ago read it for the first time, thanks to the internet. With 50 eps it would be viable to build such story. Lots of people didnt realize they live in such venomous surroundings because they grew up with that, so they think it was accepted values.Until some external force arrive, such as higher education, witnessing others live, move to other places, etc. the character, Park yeong ra was a good ex of how person brought up in such so she thought that what a normal life should be.

Jihyeok and Dad have affirmed on their own that the other does love them. Haha, both stubborn men. Love Jihyeok's and Seongjae's ongoing bromance!

I agree that it's more interesting to watch Jiwan and Yeongra than the main couple. But where was Yeongra's Dad when she was growing up? Couldn't he see that his daughter was literally Mummy's prisoner. I excuse Seongjae because he was young and dealing with his own grief over his Mum. But really Dad is a failure as a father. Subin and Grandma were so adorable! The conversation between Grandma and Dajeong's Dad was very real. Sadly, it is a growing epidemic all over the world. Many elderly living alone. Many cannot afford to retire.

I have never thought of Euno as a wimp or weak. A wimp would not demand that Jihyeok give her a reason for rejecting her. She wouldn't have demanded an apology when she found out he was going to marry a gal from a wealthy family. A wimp wouldn't have told him that he only pretended to be a good person but he was actually trash.

I thought she was stupid! Bought second hand goods. Didn't bother to check it before handing over money. And after Jihyeok rescued her, we find out it wasn't the first time. C'mon on, how dumb is that.

Show is almost at middle mark and so far have seen little to warm up to her. They overdid the first few episodes with her rage, her tears, being judgemental etc. For me, the ground needs to shake to warm up to her now!

I don't like Jihyeok's expansion plans. Hope he's not moving too fast, too soon. How will Dad feel if his business fails. Oh dear.

country bumpkin Nov 09 2025 6:46 am female characters who viewers assume are sort of "soft"type of persons but as the episodes moving along, turns out those female characters are the opposite of what we thought or assume they were; those types are, arguably of course, more interesting to watch. and since we got 50 episodes then there are plenty of spaces for the character to build up the in-depth character development, maybe the first 10 episodes she was a wimp, a push over, and the next batches of episodes, we start to see how wrong we took her for. She is actually tough,consistent, a keeper, the rock in the family. Mdm Jung sun hee, imho, she is the rock of the family, but her vibe is of the "soft" one. Mdm Kim da jeong is also the rock of the family. I am fully aware of not being judgmental, or stereotypical, the two female are sort of old timer house wifes of oriental families: everyone took them for granted, do most of the house errands,underapreciated, most likely got saddened by family members' conducts, husband treat them like craps, so on..so on..

The characters hardly get to enact their relationships with each other through actual scenes; instead, they sit around or stand around, and simply describe these relationships in words. It reminds me of primitive forms of theater, where actors would state their roles or announce their intentions as they enter the stage. This is too crude to work nowadays. Another problem: The most important relationship, the one between the female lead and the male lead, is preset right from the start: she is already deeply in love with him. This, again, goes against modern expectations, as the falling in love is arguably stolen from us.

Jihyeok worked hard in his previous life in a job he didn't like and moved up the ranks. There's nothing in his behaviour to think he would not succeed at what he puts his mind to. Jihyeok is just like his Dad - hard working, focussed and stubborn! When he marries Euno, I hope the.2 of them don't live with the family. The dynamics in Seongjae's family is weird. It's not just his step Mum. Yeongra commented she wasn't close to Euno's twin because they have different fathers. hello, she shares a Dad with Seongjae but she also shares a Mum with the other bro!

I love how the writers fully develop the characters so well that when the show is over you miss the characters. But the thing about having to be slapped because the character puts his hands in his pockets in front of his grandfather? Why? It makes no sense, is horrible and cruel. I have loved kdramas for almost a decade but I have to FF over all the hitting of their kids, all that back slapping... ? Then there's the women screeching endlessly at the top of their lungs with hatred and pulling each other's hair out. What in the world... Despite all of that it's still the best thing on tv. Just get ready to turn your volume way down when the high pitched screaming starts at decibals that will bring your neighbors knocking on your door...

Mel Oct 26 2025 3:04 am When petty Euno gets right in Jihyeok's face to scold him, we hear his heart beating fast. However, the expression on his face is not that of someone besotted. He looked like he was receiving a scolding from a principal.

When is the writer going to stop letting petty call all the shots.. She asks Jihyeok to meet to discuss the renovation. He replies that she should send him the details by email. but no, she insists on meeting. Whatever she wants, when she wants goes.

I think Seongjae is becoming unlikeable. He smugly tells Jihyeok that petty no longer thinks of Jihyeok as a senior. Yes, he is interested in petty and thinks he stands a good chance. But Jihyeok is supposed to be his best friend. Seongjae is supposed to be the guy "torn between love and friendship" - nah, he will choose petty in a heartbeat. So far, it is Jihyeok that is feeling torn.

When Jihyeok's Dad figures out that Jihyeok is the one petty had been venting about, he will surely bring it up in a conversation. We already seen he loves to hit below the belt so he will find an opportunity to bring it up.

I have seen Lee Tae Ran in many dramas. She is a great actress. But here the facial expressions seem overdone. I think it's due to instructions from the director. It seems like the directors of the various dramas are in a group chat. When a villain in a drama twists her mouth in a certain angle, all the other villains do the same! When one puts his hands in his pockets, you see all the other characters in other dramas doing the same. Recently saw one talking to his Grandpa with his hands in his pocket. If I were the Grandpa, I would have slapped him for being so disrespectful. I wish they wouldn't just blindly imitate and have all the characters just doing the same. These are veteran actors who know their stuff. let them do it!

What gives her the right to call him out of a cafe just because he is not sitting at her cafe! She is too petty and he lets her get away with calling all the shots. I totally get it if she was a teenager. But she's not so when is the writer going to have her grow up? We're almost mid-way through the drama and her personality has not improved. We saw some change\improvement in Jihyeok.

Oh, watching this drama makes me miss "For Eagle Brothers". That was a beautiful drama from start to end.

Jiyeok's Dad asked his wife "do you know what Jiyeok is up to? How can you call him a son then?". haha... she doesn't know what the husband is up to so can she turn around and say he's not her husband. One petty, childish character - Euno - is more than enough. No need to have two self-righteous with victim mentality.

I didn't understand the conversation between Jiyheok and Seongjae. Jihyeok said Seongjae never asked why he wanted to marry that rich gal. I thought Seongjae did ask but Jiyheok wouldn't say. Jiyheok also said he always dissuaded Seongjae from pursuing Euno. really? I thought in early episodes he told Seongjae to make a move on Euno.

But in the last couple episodes he , imho, is way too much doing those -I am the head of the family, my way or get lost - attitude. Think it over, that was how they run kdramatv series. No one are pure protag or pure antag. everyone is just doin what they think the best for the situation, by referring to how they get their inputs in life- the society values during the days one brought up, education, so on so on. So we could think it over and say, "...ahh, i know why dad behaved that way, he is an old timer got run over by the ever changing society. He was brought up during the era when many families were struggling so hard just to put food on table, and chain of command is set by age-the elders know what is the best and juniors follow the command, it aint matter if juniors got triple PhDs or ran a fortune500, appa still run the house since he knows what is the best for the family. Now, reality bites, he is almost end up irrelevant in the labor market, Viewers can start seeing from appa's angle, how scary the fast changing world to appa. On the other hand, the gramma and granpa , they already accept they are left behind, that the world dont wait for them,so they are happy and grateful that they still could find something to do and earn some amount. well, maybe the title should be "floatsam and jetsam..annya. !

Even when he put words into Jiwoo's mouth & always whinning about his son not loving\respecting him, I thought it's his age. I am glad Jiwoo told him that half of the house belongs to the Mum. Dad is always thinking Mum and wife have to go along with whatever he wants. Totally lost respect for the Dad.

So Jiwoo is unaware he has feelings for the annoying childish, petty female lead. He's doing everything to make things easier for her. Is the writer going to make him chase after her? please don't. that would only be super annoying. She has not done anything to show she's worth the attention of one man, let alone two.

Please focus more on Yeongra and Jiwan.

Robert Sep 29 2025 11:21 am I enjoy this drama. It gave goosebumps bump for giving me starving for a relational craving. This type of an experience through a drama makes k- drama very good. I love it is am enjoying it very much. Some of the anyasises below:

1)Il-Woo, this guy ? is very likable. He has charisma. I see why lots of women are drawn to him. He is a bit cocky, highly intelligent, and confident. The cancelation marriage, I am not sure exact reason for his consent to the marriage, the marriage of convince. Based on advance episodes, it truly out of characters of him to do something like that for him.At the time, I think he did really like In-Sun. Either that he was so busy pursuing his career that il- Sun did not enter his vision.The reasoning he gave rejection was that they both don't match. It was to early of the drama to see matching of the description. The cancelation of the marriage was a good thing.

2) In-Sun, i love this woman. She is intelligent, very confident, and very caring as well. I like her straight forwardness to tell il- woo that she likes him. She clearly has been watching him to her liking. Is it korean cultural thing about woman telling to a guy that she likes him? Based on my experience, this type interaction is more rare in America. Of course since she was formally rejected by il-wood, she rejecting all contacts with il- woo. I like her the way she interaction with others. Regarding her brother, i think she treated him with to much of soft love instead of tough love. Bailling out his gambling debts. He needed to suffer from his conquered of his mistakes rather than easy bail out. I am not understanding of his total perk behavior. He has new gambling debts, he needed a reason to bail out. As saying goes he needs a discipline by another male, not constant bail out or constant appeasing.. il- sun's falling inside bus and catching by il- woo was really great. I love that. Her picking up papers while il- woo was really pleasure. She still holding back but slowly but surly heading toward heart warming romance. I am picturing a deep long French kiss but this is kdrama, all G- rated.This kdrama just started which means it will be a while before those two people comming together.

3) jung yeon, she us bit mystery. Her peculiarity, is it her mother's making or her own. He to tell.she is creating interest what is her story? Why is she likes that? Maybe her mother is controlling freak. Why is she attracting a stalker? At this point lot more than answers

4)Tae-Ran, I like her. She is sexy. I like her tall confident with her great social skill.Like her own daughter she has grat mystery as well. In- Sun really her daughter? I hope to see lot more of her screening times.

Sorry but the general plot has been rehashed before and the ML, FL, and 2nd ML characters are boring or annoying.

He said he would never marry and then he changed his mind. People do change their minds when their circumstances change. So she jumped on the poverty bandwagon as the reason why he would not consider marrying her! And she feels betrayed! Never once did he gave her any encouragement to think of him as other than a good friend\big brother. So all her hurt feelings are in her mind, of her own making.

The 1st ML now has a chance to do what he always wanted to do - interior design. His Dad had stopped him from pursuing that when he was younger. And the confrontation with his Dad when the wedding didn't happen prevents him from going home. 1st FL thinks it's easy for ML to come to the cafe but it's actually very difficult. Someone with less steel and determination would have stayed away. Mind you, not that I don't think he is annoying. He is but he is not childish and petty like the 1st FL.

I think Seong Hee is 2nd ML's step-mum. And I think she knew he was being bullied when he was in school. I believe she bought him a new pair of sneakers so that the bullies would pounce on it! She has no maternal love for either of her daughters. So I think she needs something from Euno.

2nd ML is getting a big smug, so happy in his growing relationship with the 1st FL. Has it ever occurred to him that except when they are playing games, her conversation is almost always about the 1st ML?! LOL. I wonder if the 2nd ML will clash with his Dad over the step-mum. So far, nothing suggests that the 2nd ML will have the backbone to stand up for himself and if need be, go his own way.

The plot where Grandma found a job (& with Daughter-in-law's Dad) is very touching. People always say "ahh so sad to see the elderly still working". Actually if they are able and want to, if they can find gainful employment then go for it. Otherwise it's like just waiting till time to meet the maker. The job will make her feel she is contributing. So brave of her - salute!

Most of the storyline is not really going as I thought it would which is surprising but not necessarily in a good way. To top it all, I find the ML a bit frustrating. He goes on as if his problems are external to him, however, I get the sense that he's really fighting himself and not whatever or whoever he thinks he's up against. Not sure how I feel about the FL, I generally like the actress, so I fear I'm struggling to be objective.

He didn't even ask her how she got her number. After all, she no longer has access to her father's wealth and connections. Then it was back to Grandma and Mum saying his line was disconnected. Very sloppy writing and directing!

Oh! I cried when Jihyeok's Mum was crying for him. such a tearjerker scene. Loved his short phone call with her. Mum doesn't agree with what he did but she loves him & respects him enough not to condemn him. Contrast that with Euno essentially attacking his entire character.

For others, it can be about companionship, security, social standing, or shared goals. Euno & her sidekick have no right to say Jihyeeok is shallow and has no morals because he wanted to marry a rich heiress to elevate his status. He is still the person who helped a poor family - help that he didn't want anyone to know. Hate Euno going on in her smug, condemning way that Jiyeok was just making a show of starting a business is more projecting her own ideals onto others, and when those ideals aren’t met, she felt betrayed — even if there was no actual lie. I find myself disliking Euno with each new episode.

Seonja and Sobin, Jiwan and Yeongra are progressing nicely!

My colleague changed overnight and became a very bitter, angry person. New juniors who joined after the incident had to tiptoe around her. It took her a few years to get past it.

I hope the ML doesn't end up with the FL. Somehow, I don' find them suited at all. I stopped rooting for her after her outburst at the ML. I also think the 2nd ML is too good for her. She needs to get over her own insecurities over "being poor" or she will use that as an excuse whenever things don't go her way.

I just don't feel the connection between the male and female lead and I'd rather have the female lead and 2nd lead, the male lead's best friend be together at the end and the male lead to have his own story. but it's too early to say

Dex86 Sep 02 2025 9:33 am @Cha Seo Bee, I think I either am way behind you in watching the drama or I don't understand it. I didn't get the impression that the ML kept popping into the FL's life. From what I understand the cafe is like some central place where they meet socially and formally (meetings on their projects). Even though the co-worker told him to stay away from the cafe, the 2 ladies wondered why he hadn't turned up in days. They speculated if he quarrelled with the 2nd ML. When the drama began, he was very upbeat about his life. Then his intern became the boss and he learnt his father's contract was cancelled. He felt that once again, he had to make sacrifices for his family. His mother alluded to earlier sacrifices when he was young.

I also agree with your comments about the FL's looks. She looks very cute and wholesome. I actually cannot stand to look at those who very obviously had plastic surgery (even multiple jobs). Not sure why Koreans are so patriotic yet hate to look Korean. As a nation, they are so brainwashed and obsessed with the West that they blindly apt everything. Very sad.

That's fine to reject for whatever reason but cruel to keep popping into her life the way he does! Hoping for a good reason down the line why he is being such an AH. SML is such a good guy (writers doing this of course for sake of the drama!) and ML sister is so shallow and dishonest but I see where this is obviously going. Hoping some redemptive qualities emerge from her.

And btw to each their own but I disagree with negative comments about her looks. Personally I think she's beautiful and loved her since Naked Fireman and her ending gaze in that one LOL

The condition were perfect for a total meltdown scene of parents who were just heart broken by their once promising kid. Appa cried is ok, because he was drunk,so he was being sincere and said whatever he wanted to say about the kid. Maybe later on we gonna got the chance of that sort of scene. The story line is awesome so far, An advanced society is paying the due with all the consequences of being advance, such as the break down of family value, and so on...you know the drill.

AJ Aug 18 2025 9:27 pm Agree that a 13%-rating for a 50-episode weekend drama (which traditionally has been KBS' bread and butter) is underwhelming. Perhaps it's because of "viewer's fatigue", after finishing watching the previous weekend drama (For Eagle Brothers)? Then the jury is still out, and let us wait for a few more episodes. One thing for sure: If this new drama turns out to be just the average "run of the mill" weekend drama, then the rating, at best, will be hovering around, at best, 15%-ish.
