Akari Tachibana (Rinka Kumada) dated Yamato Naruse in high school, but they broke up. She is now a university student, but she still hasn't gotten over their breakup. One day, she meets Izumi Naruse (Jyutaro Yamanaka) who attends the same university. He is younger than her. Izumi Naruse is sincere and warm hearted like Akari Tachibana, but, unlike Akari Tachibana, he is also honest with other people. He doesn’t tell lies to make other people feel good. They become attracted to each other and soon develop a romantic relationship. Akari Tachibana then learns that Izumi Naruse is the younger brother of her ex-boyfriend Yamato Naruse.
