In 1986, Young-Min (Lee Beom-Soo) is a professor of Marxian economics in Berlin. He decides to travel to North Korea where his achievements will be acknowledged. He travels there with his family, but, once in North Korea, Young-Min realizes he made a mistake. He tries to escape with his family.
