Lee Gang-Soo (Kang Ha-Neul), who was imprisoned under a false accusation, receives an offer from Prosecutor Ku Gwan-Hee (Yu Hae-Jin). The ambitious prosecutor offers Lee Gang-Soo a reduced sentence if he will become a yadang. The term is a slang word for drug offenders who become informants to police officers or prosecutors. Due to Lee Gang-Soo's help, Prosecutor Ku Gwan-Hee achieves significant results and is on a fast track for a promotion. Meanwhile, Oh Sang-Jae (Park Hae-Joon) is a detective in a drug squad and he is not happy with Prosecutor Ku Gwan-Hee. Oh Sang-Jae's investigations keep failing due to the prosecutor. Oh Sang-Jae begins to dig into the relationship between Prosecutor Ku Gwan-Hee and Lee Gang-Soo.
