Auntie Sasha Dec 25 2023 2:26 pm I like this movie. Sure TTB was superb but this did not disappoint. Gang Dong Won still got it. And that girl has more driving skills than this aunt. I feel sorry for Captain Seo, although he shot granpa he just want to get out of there too. But brilliant in reversing the truck.

Blanca Trueba Dec 08 2023 9:57 pm If we manage our expectations, this movie is quite fun to watch. Yes, this is far inferior compared to Train to Busan, but the first movie is a magnificent film so it's very difficult to compete anyway.

The zombies are not as scary as the first movie, true, that's good for me since I don't like horror movies lol. This is more like an action film genre rather than horror. I specifically love the car chase, and how the eldest daughter masters the car's control and manoeuvre to outrun the chasers as well as the zombies around.

The ending is quite awkward, how the mother initially intended to kill herself so that the helicopter wouldn't wait for her, and how the male lead eventually decided to save the mother at the last minute... with the UN peacekeepers doing nothing also until the last minute... seriously? :D

The first part and the last part of the movie are supposed to be emotional, but I don't feel the emotions in both scenes. If the movie was trying to do that, then it failed. But the action parts actually deliver, as an action movie, this film is actually quite fun to watch.

I like this movie and I give 6/10. For me it's like mad max plus fast furious kind of movie. The mcs done a good jobs.... I like how I can feel their feelings where all of them trying so hard to survive.

I feel so sorry to his brother in-law. I can feel the feeling of being helpless from his brother in-law and it actually make me scare the most throughout the movie +_+ like seriously, I feel like I'm in his place @_@ strangely, I focus more on him than the mcs :')

Ofc Koo Gyo-Hwan did a really good job with his acting xDD I just love his character in this xDD I want to focus more on him but I guess I'm going to watch his other movies and drama then

Ba Ni Apr 28 2021 11:33 am I understand why people have high expectation and disappointed toward Peninsula...well, Train to Busan was the cause..haha..I actually like Peninsula tho..the things is, people need to understand that both the movies is totally different..the situation becomes different already..it's been 4 years tho...don't expect still the same as the first one...this time the human is the problem...no one coming to rescue them, what would we thought if we were there? of course it's driving us crazy, we've experience it tho during this pandemic and I see alot turned crazy..you see..it's all about understanding..just because it didn't come out as they thought it to be doesn't mean it was a bad movie..this all because it was a sequel from the first one and it leave marked on people. Peninsula just different movie than the T2B..if this was not a sequel from T2B, I gues they love it lol...I'm about to cancel my intention to watch it in the first place due to comments but I still watched it anyway..well you know what, I enjoyed and love Peninsula more due to Jooni..haha

It's a zombie movie but we didn't really see most of the zombie or any emotional connection to any of the characters, Zombie could have bit the children and I wouldn't have given a f. The cast did wonderful but the script is just trash.

while watching the movies I was thinking she was Yui but then I realizes this is Korean Movies, and I was like "Maybe she's not" then my second thoughts came in my mind, "but it does not rule out the possibility that Yui casting in a Korean Movies right?" and finally I manage to find out the actress, she is Lee Jung-hyun.. for me Yui and Junghyun has a similiar face shape and expression so it's a bit surprised me.

Like seriously guys? is this a zombie movie or an action movie? its not like the actor and the actress have a bad acting. they really great. but, for the movie? nah. i expect to much in this movie. anyway 6/10. i warn you guys, dont expect to much from this movie?

I just watched this movie from one of legal streaming platform, because they just added Peninsula to their movie lists, until I found many of you dissapoint with this movie because of some reasons, but for me it's not that bad.

I feel thrilled at the opening scene, Gang Dong Woon really good at expressing his character, like usual. Most scenes were pretty mesmerizing, but they were potrayed more action between human and human, rather than human with zombie. I was getting on my nerves because of those bad guys rather than zombies. I think that's a bit unfortunate, but that's not mean Peninsula is not worth to watch. Give a try to whoever that hasn't watch this yet. I would rate this movie as 7.5/10, those kids really stole my heart becuase of their versatile side as an actors.

Fayesha Nov 03 2020 10:02 am absolutely different experience, i smell something fishy is happening in writing the script here, T2B has other writer, and in this sequel that writer didn't help this director, but instead he write this movie himself. all i could say, this sequel is one-dimensional story-line. and i see not many people wants another sequel.

kkul Oct 24 2020 8:50 pm it's a good movie! i think people came in with too much expectations for the sequel. you have to remember that this movie occurs 4 years after the outbreak, korea has become a lawless, chaotic "peninsula" and people are struggling to survive. the zombies are still a problem, yes, but there are new conflicts between humans and groups, the movie focuses on a different perspective. it's not just about running away anymore, people know what zombies do. the thriller is still there, the cast did a great job, and the main character learns a valuable lesson. the car racing everyone is talking about takes up about 10 minutes of the movie but there's a reason for that scene. this is was good for a night-watch, i enjoyed it even though it wasn't perfect. if you're gonna watch it, i don't recommend coming in with expectations. the storyline is totally separate from train to busan.

harley Oct 17 2020 3:50 am feels like watching fast and furious zombie edition, anyway it's still good especially if you're a fan of action packed movie , the last 10 minutes gave the biggest impact for me, so nerve-wracking yet still have the heart- touching moment (i almost cry) as for the actors, gang dong won as usual, has always impressed me with his incredible acting, same goes to lee jung hyun, it's my first time watching her in a movie, and lee re too, her character is so cool and lowkey badass,. can't wait to see her next project, and also koo gyo hwan, it's my first time hearing his name but he really did a good job bringing alive his complicated character captain seo

But I'd say it's absolutely different. CGI as always sucks. In still scenes it's great. But in action it's like animated plastiline. Not sure why Koreans cant provide good CGI in action scenes. But the movie itself was quite good. Great pacing, interesting techniques. Cinematography is great. Things are not as perfect as T2B, but still I can say - I wasnt bored and cared about main characters pretty much. 7/10.

overall, this movie is not good enough, but some parts are actually amazing.

I think in the past, only Americans or blacks with a European appearance played the main role in the film. Asians are rarely played (It doesn't exist at all). I am very grateful to be an Asian. I'm sorry, I'm not a racist in wrote that kind of things. But this movie made me very exciting. I haven't been to a movie theater in about six years, and I went to see that movie on my birthday yesterday. And Gang Dong Won you are truly amazing man in the world and other actors. super duper thank you all.

Forget TTB, this is it’s own movie. No comparison needed coz the plot may be similar but the storylines are different. After all it’s freaking Four Years Later....we don’t expect to see people getting blindsided by zombies everywhere and a lot of escaping scenes anymore. We would expect some have adjusted to their new norm coz well, they don’t have a choice.

And for some who said that there were less zombies and weaker too.....well, of course they’ve been starving for so long and have been in their dormant state. And a lot might’ve died already due to starvation and/or the survivors killed them.

Having said that, i just sat back and enjoyed the high octane ride!!!

The writer definitely learned his lesson in TTB, he did not kill any of the major characters lols!!!

If i can have my way I’d like another one, preferably with kang dong won too.

For me, it has its own special vibes. So, I think better not to compare which one is better. This movie kinda has a mix of Train To Busan, Maze Runner, and Fast & Furious, for me XD. Highly recommended to watch.

Lee Re is such an amazing and promising actress! The way she act during driving scene I'm totally like 'wow'. She drive so well, very skillfully. Very smart girl, how she tried to get out of the zombies surrounded and also during the 'car-chasing scene'. A big thumbs up for her! It is funny when Gang Dong Won becomes unconscious in the car due to her driving. Not forgetting, Gang Dong Won did reallllyyy good job in the movie!! It's freaking cool man the way he fights with the zombie during shooting scene. His acting never disappoint. Thumbs up, man! Also, Lee Jung Hyun is the coolest mother ever in this movie. How she wants to protect her children at her best. And also like mother, like daughter. She's also damn good in driving just like her daughter. (However, I should say her daughter is much more. ^^) Nevertheless, the last scene is very intense tho.

For me, the ending is good enough. Although there are some scenes that are quite frustrating. But, still overall it's a good movie! Worth watching.
