Han Beom-Woo (Kang Ha-Neul) is a successor of a large food company and runs a fine dining restaurant in Seoul, but he isn’t interested in taste. Meanwhile, Mo Yeon-Joo (Go Min-Si) is a chef, who is crazy about taste. She runs a one-table restaurant, without a signboard, in a remote corner of a province. Han Beom-Woo and Mo Yeon-Joo, who are completely different from each other in all facets of their lives, somehow begin to run a small restaurant in Jeonju. Doing that, they grow up together and also fall in love with each other.

irish Jan 05 2026 3:15 pm I really enjoyed this at first (until the ex boyfriend showed up) the ex bf plot and sapporo episode should’ve ended in just one episode but they wasted a whole 3 episodes for it??? the leads are cute but i really hate how the chef and the secretary never paid the price for stealing jungjae’s recipe and beomwoo’s mother for cheating the cook off

Un modeste admirateur Aug 09 2025 9:15 am I watched « Tastefully Yours » with my family, and we quite enjoyed it. Thank you to the huge crew that contributed to this drama, which you can see posing in the very last episode. Kang Ha-Neul’s character was the best. The way he went from rich boy to country bumpkin was entertaining and natural, and my favorite moment was when he drank with the vegetable shop owner and the butcher shop owner, and later they brought him customers. Curiously, I didn’t enjoy as much the female characters, which often seemed distant and cold as ice (except the women in the Buddhist temple), for which reason I wouldn’t recommend « Tastefully Yours » as a romantic drama, but rather as a slice of life or restaurateur drama.

Cheryl Jul 17 2025 5:07 pm This is one of those K dramas that I had high hopes for and when people say that K dramas don't land like they used to, this is a good example. This drama has all the ingredients to be an amazing drama. Right away I was disappointed that there are only 10 episodes and when the story starts to unfold, and their is a lot in it, 10 episodes just isn't enough, in my opinion, to do this justice. One of the qualities that I love in Korean dramas is the 16 episode drama where the story and the characters are well developed and even the secondary characters have an important part of the story. This cast is so talented and some amazing actors are part of the project. By episode 4 the couple have kissed and the male lead is a jerk and has not really redeemed himself to kissing status yet, but here we are and then the female lead runs off to Japan to meet up with her ex. Meanwhile the male lead's brother is trying to undermine him and the story bounces around from the art of food, the building of a good restaurant and the romantic storyline and the ex boyfriend. It just felt way too rushed with such a big story. I was very disappointed overall because I think there was real gold here. Not a bad drama but not what I had hoped for. As I mentioned this is a really great cast and they all did such a good job, They just didn't get enough time to fully shine.

In the end, it's just entertainment to fulfill this busy life,

Kdrama Llama Jun 28 2025 3:19 am I’m not sure why many of the other reviews are quite so down on this show, I really enjoyed it as an easy slice of life set in the high end restaurant industry. It was nice and light and Kang Hanul was a tasty treat as the ML and the FL was an authentic and different, certainly no pushover. Their chemistry was great and they had interesting backstories too, particularly her childhood. I wasn’t sure about the 2ML at first, his hair and attitude were bad but he really won me over in the end. I liked the foodie focus but I probably could have done without the FLs ex showing up to interrupt the flow of both the show and simmering love story... Never pick up when the phone rings and it’s the ex, ha!

Zeila Jun 23 2025 4:22 pm Enjoyed...didn't mind the ex episodes at all. Also liked the side characters, who ended up being necessary to the plot. However, very disappointed in the end. Mommy dearest did not pay for her cheating JungJae out of the win, as well as past crimes. Both restaurants won 3 stars, but Mocco won because they stole Jungjae's recipe book and no one did a thing about it? Could have been better.

Mark C Jun 11 2025 6:55 pm I'm unsure why many people give this drama a low rating. Personally, I prefer it over other highly-rated dramas I've watched recently. Perhaps individuals have differing tastes in K-dramas. For me, this is exceptionally heartwarming. I am completely immersed in it; it feels like a healing drama, much like When the Camellia Blooms, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, and others. A solid 100/10 in my opinion! ?

j Jun 09 2025 9:42 am support characters are annoying af!! they lost a lot of opportunity by giving more screentime for the selfish ex-lover and shitty ex-boss, which imo not relevant in her life anymore. she doesn’t even need more validation about her skills. i’m kinda glad that it’s only 10 episodes so i don’t have to force myself any further. i honestly only watched this because of kang haneul. fan service and product placements at its finest.

Steve Jun 03 2025 8:03 pm Kang Ha-Neul is miscast in this role. His mostly grins and smiles smugly, which often seem out of place. His scenes with Yoo Yeon-Seok highlight his lack of subtly and nuisance. Their roles should have been reversed. This is probably not the drama you've been waiting for.

Except as myself find the translation offensive! Using God’s name in vain! God’s last name is not damn. And if you Google it, one will find that South Koreans do not use God’s Name in vain! They are very respectful of that. My niece lived in South Korea for 4 years, part of her Studues, and confirmed that South Koreans do not do so! And are very respectful of it!

But as someone mentioned earlier, this story was going well until the love triangle entered the picture, which was kind of annoying but I guess they needed some conflict or jealousy to spice things up. I hope Minsi continues to act in more dramas in the future.

I’m a big fan of Yoo Yeon-seok, what a bummer, in this drama his presence is quite annoying because his screentime is excessive, more than the main characters.

Maybe because ENA is not as famous as tvN, or because they chose a relatively new actress that is why the rating is so low. I generally do not rely on Korean national ratings and how Korean drama watchers so I try watching dramas that has low ratings. Well and good because Tastefully yours is indeed a good drama. Hope more people watch this drama soon! Fighting!

Chey May 20 2025 1:44 pm This has been really good since its pilot episode. The main 4 characters are truly carrying the drama + Ha Neul and Min Si's on-screen chemistry are just through the roof. Styling is impeccably astounding especially showing Min Si and Kim Shin Rok as countrybumpkins.

I loved Kang Ha-Neul inMidnight Runners & Misaeng, his character in When The Camellia Blooms was a bit over the top, but lovable. I loved Go Min-si in Jenny’s Kitchen in Iceland. I’m previewing this to see if my husband will like watching it. He can’t stand 1.Too much violence. 2. Most fantasy dramas. 3. When a drama is just too silly. 4. The Korean drinking until you’re stumbling around and say & do things you regret or don’t remember cliché. I just came to the scene with at least 10 large bottles of some alcoholic drink & are pounding down shots. I think one character is already passed out. No one even drinks that much, which is why it’s supposed to be so funny, but it’s not. I just don’t get how drinking copious amounts of alcohol until your smashed is entertaining. Especially because it is done in almost every drama. Cliche And the fact that South Korea has one of the highest rates of alcoholism in the world, if not the highest makes it irresponsible. The actors always do a superb job of acting, but the writers, directors &/or producers have to promote solid stories & stop peddling clichés & up their game. At least that’s my opinion.

Chey May 12 2025 2:19 pm The pilot episode has me glued to my screen from start to finish. It's been awhile I've watched a SKorean rom-com and Tastefully Yours seems to deliver, crossing my fingers! I'm loving the chemistry between Ha Neul and Min Si! Their comical timing is hilarious and it's nice to see Go Min Si's character with less makeup. Well, Min Si is versatile to begin with. Can't wait for the next episode tomorrow!
