In his past, Nam Gi-Jun (So Ji-Sub) was a member of the Bongsan Gang that was led by Gu Bong-San (Ahn Kil-Kang). Nam Gi-Jun defeated other gangs through violent battles and the gang grew into a large company, but Nam Gi-Jun decided to leave the gang. His younger brother Nam Gi-Seok (Lee Jun-Hyuk) joined the Joowoon Gang that was led by Lee Ju-Woon (Heo Jun-Ho). The two gangs were rivals. For his brother, Nam Gi-Jun quit the Bongsan Gang by cutting his left Achilles tendon.

11 years later, Nam Gi-Jun lives peacefully and makes a living by suppling drinks to businesses run by Bongsan. His brother Nam Gi-Seok is now the second highest ranked person in Joowoon, but he suddenly dies. In order to reveal the secret behind Nam Gi-Seok’s death and take revenge on those responsible, Nam Gi-Jun goes back to the gang world that he left behind 11 years ago.

Bea Dec 17 2025 12:05 pm I'm so the glad that i watched this. The reviews aint lying. This is really one of my best watch this year. Stellar cast and acting! Do i also have to mention the action scenes? So freaking cool!. Actually, I recently noticed a shift in kdrama from long series to short series. And, i'm loving korean mini series so far, those i've watched are definitely plot packed, and has better pace and storyline than 16-episode kdramas. Mercy for None just easily became one of my faves so far in my list.

Drei Jun 28 2025 5:44 pm I watched this for Young Woo, I just clicked it without knowing how star-studded and high quality this kdrama is its like watching a long action movie. Not my usual kdrama but damn the acting and action scenes were top tier. More projects like this for Young Woo he did such a good job in his character ? Also, it is too gory but nonetheless its a 10/10 for me!!!

also make sure to watch this with both earphones in, it heightens the watch experience.

Although I must say, around episode 3, you already knew who the culprit is. Lee Jun Hyuk and So Ji Sub really have superb fighting performances. Plus tall actors really are so cool in action series

Nadine Jun 08 2025 7:13 pm Well, I guess the all planet was watching the drama same time as me because I have been ejected more than 10 times out of Netflix, this was rather a bloody drama that I could not stop watching. A little confusing though with all these different parties involved. Pity that Lee Jun Hyuk had not more screen time of course. All of the actors were super great and Si ji Sub was incredible. Bravo

happy98 Jun 08 2025 6:53 pm I was rewatch John Wick 1 before starting this drama, I found sooo many similarities. But this action drama feels better, because GiJun fights with bare hand and not extremely neat like Wick, better emotional shoots of every roles. 8.7/10 noir genre ╮(╯▽╰)╭

But I do have big grouse... they made ML too superhuman. when he gets stabbed or shot... he continues, but for others.. a single stab and they die... let's at least be real a little..
