Yoon Dong-Joo (Park Bo-Gum) is an Olympic boxing gold medallist, but he goes through hardships in his life. Thanks to his Olympic medallist career, he is able to become a police officer. He begins his second life as a police officer.

Ji Han-Na (Kim So-Hyun) is an Olympic shooting gold medallist. She is known as a shooting goddess due to her beautiful appearance and well liked by the public. Due to an incident that shocked the world, she quits sport shooting and becomes a police officer.

Yoon Dong-Joo and Ji Han-Na, who both became police officers after having Olympic gold medallists careers, fight against a world where the unconscionableness and injustice run rampant.

Kim Chiu Dec 21 2025 12:36 pm Weird how some people are complaining about the kdrama lol. I saw someone hating on the villain being an ordinary person. News flash: your bestie could be the one ruining your life. Main characters need not be perfect. Humans have flaws. If you've met an athlete, you'll know that most (if not all), are single minded and hyper focused on winning. For those complaining about the action scenes, go watching something else.

I love this drama. At first, I was complaining with how PGM was acting tough because his real personality kept on showing. But, as I see the effort he put in this drama, I have no right to complain. FL also did her work. Her action scenes were executed very well. The sabre guy frustrates me the most coz he kept on getting hurt lol.

This is a good police drama for athletes whom people forget if they don't become celebrities. Respect to all the athletes reading this.

Kdrama Stan Dec 07 2025 12:15 pm This drama started off great but after ep 7, it became boring. It should have been 8 eps long. 16 was just a stretch. Everything became so repetitive. The constant temper tantrums from the main lead were so annoying. Him constantly getting beat up and coming up with whatever motivational speech was just too annoying. The only well written character in this show was the villain. The lead couple had zero chemistry and they both had unlikable personalities. This show had so much potential. Drugmon should have been given more to her character. She started off strong but ended up being a weak character. I was so disappointed. She should at least have been a bad ass in a fight. Overall I'd give this show a 4/10 and that's me being generous. Idk what the writters were trying to come up with but it didn't work

Yeruchii Sep 03 2025 6:37 am I was so excited because we have another KSH dtama plus PBG is here. But episode 10 onwards was a struggle to finish. The heart of the plot got lost elsewhere and never came back. It started good but became a mess as it goes on. Usually fight scenes excites me but this one was just borderline ridiculous. It's.just fight after fight that the story just became a backdrop. The romance was also unfulfilling. It needs something more. I didn't even felt it. There are also a lot of parts unexplored. It took me a while to finish this because I go somewhere to refresh my brain before I continue. I only managed to finish this because I can't let a drama I watch go unfinished and because KSH is my fave.

However, it’s quite disappointing that the villain is written as a perfect character he even disguises himself as an ordinary civil worker. Meanwhile, the main character is portrayed as reckless, has anger issues, and isn’t smart, even though he’s a boxing athlete and an Olympic gold medalist. His character feels completely at odds with his background.

Ddeonu Aug 24 2025 1:13 pm I just finished watching this drama. I found it exciting, entertaining, and spiced up with a romantic comedy. All the actors in this drama played their roles very well.

Especially our villain, Oh Jung Se. In real life, he's introverted and very shy. But he played his role very well. He didn't even repent until the end, haha.

But I was a bit annoyed by Dong Ju's character, who kept getting battered even though he eventually won.

A drama that never gets boring. 8.5/10

Phewwww... If you want an emotional rollercoaster, can ignore plot holes and you have a love action. Then you should watch this.

It's a great movie but it could definitely be better. It's great if you're seeing it just once because it keeps you wondering what happens to the villain to the very end and wraps it up nicely.

I doubt it can be watched twice though you'll most likely not be able to ignore plot holes and the lack of character development.

And I don’t think the olympic setting has anything to do with the rest of the plot, an ordinary police team like other show will still work for this storyline, badly written.

The only reason we watched this was because of PBG. I don’t understand what the writer and director were thinking. They keep letting the enemies win—an unlimited wave of them armed with knives, axes, and pipes. There’s even a scene where PBG was drugged, hit by a car, stabbed, and then became a fugitive—all in one day. They could have wrapped up the series in 12 episodes, but they dragged it out to 16, which made it feel unwatchable and unlikeable. I feel bad for PBG for taking on this project.

But still hats off to PBG for his great fighting skills - his boxing skills are really good and you can tell how much he prepared for this show.

Neil Jul 30 2025 2:47 pm This was a very hard show to watch for many reasons. The ML and FL had no chemistry at all. The ML is played as very hot-headed and reactionary which is a handicap to the investigations The group is fighting an international group of mafia with very few weapons. The mafia people are all carrying knives, guns, pipes or sticks in every fight scene. But the cops are incompetent by not arming themselves or calling for backup before going up against them time after time after time. The FL is the only one that has access to a gun that shoots paintballs or tiny sandbags, but keeps getting beat up because she keeps hitting people in the leg out missing. The writers and director should apologize to the actors who had to carry out this plot hole laden show.

But if you’re here for the vibes, the emotional rollercoaster, the theme, the heart, the friendship goals, and the kind of moments that make you smile at your screen like a fool—congratulations, you’ve found your next obsession.

Now, I’m a mix of both worlds. I did have a few “wait, but how—?” moments. The logic gaps? Yep, I saw them. Did I care? Honestly, not that much. Because the characters? Loveable. The friendships? Solid. The weekly episodes? I anticipate them like it’s my favorite meal.

It’s kind of like loving someone deeply—you start seeing what matters most, and the little flaws just blur out. So while it’s not a perfect 100, it’s a strong 98/100 from me. Would watch again. Would cry again. Would recommend.

However if you're here for the theme, the story, the fun, and how it makes you feel in general— this drama is memorable and enjoyable, so you should definitely watch. I'm both, I have lots of questions, but it matters less than the experience. I love the characters, their friendship, their perseverance, and I look up to the new episodes every week. Might be imperfect because of the plot holes, but you'll get to ignore it as you watch, just as how you see the beauty (not physical) of the people that you love and care less about anything else. So this drama 97/100.

But notice in ep15/ep16 ,, there’s a truck, full of explosives etc.. why have 5 police officer run after it? IMO, actors are a bit exaggerated again directors and writers.., and drama got boring later in the episodes,, like it was great from ep1-12,, Plus chasing 1 guy,, but the writers could’ve done better,, example, all the time Dong-Ju met up with Min Ju-Young privately, that wasn’t needed at all,, but then they chase after Min Ju-Young, through out the whole drama.. whats the point of that.. I really only enjoyed the funny humor the characters threw out there.. ‘’ ohh anyone notice how cheesy it was every time the actors had to promote something in the drama, like the kopiko coffee candy, coconut water, and the sandwiches.. lol. either way top notch actors in this drama.

LC Jul 19 2025 4:25 am Initial few episodes with funny scenes, thinking should be not bad watching. But getting more draggy, why must have so many fighting scenes which make it sooo boring! Baddies like never ending, will never die, always with weapons but good guys fight bare handed. It seriously so annoying watching it! 16 epi is too much for this drama, reduce to 8 should be enough. Can fast forward those fighting scenes actually to save time and frustration. Took up too much time! Watch when you are super free!

But goshhh ... I think it dragged. I think it could have been a 12 episode series because it's just all a new twist that has them fighting and fighting.

Plus I think that Dong Ju's character didn't grow throughout the movie... At least till Episode 14. He's still hotheaded and thinks with his fist not his head. I mean we don't mind the fact that he fights but one thing that's recurring is how he fights without thinking of the consequences to him and the people around him.

The Storyline isn't bad and I think the drama is great but would have been nicer of Dong Ju's character grew and the episodes were shorter.

All in all, I'm looking forward to see the end of Min Ju Yeong

Everyone is saying that Hanna missed Min Ju Yeong in episode 13. But she did not! She deliberately shot him to get his attention because her main goal is to expose him, not to kill him. What's the point of installing a body camera and asking her senior to livestream if she will shoot him from afar? It's all pre-planned.

And Kim So Hyun's character is supposed to be nonchalant, so why is everyone pointing out her facial expression? Although it's not surprising, because almost all leads who played a "non-vibrant" character receive this type of hate, Lol.

Park Bogum's role is gullible so he shines more compared to Hanna's personality, but I still hope people will stop slandering So Hyun as if she did not match how her character was written.

Anyway, it's 100% a must watch and re-watch for me! Goodvengers are amazing!

I love the funny moments and the team as one but,, it was draggy, and Dong-Ju does not need to fight like 20 guys all the time, he was drugged almost killed and then. A few days later he’s back to kicking butts again.. and really Han-na the top sharp shooter misses - Min Ju Yeong, it’s getting to where it should have ended at 12 or 14 ep. I had to go back and google how many episodes the drama had, with the all fighting in ep 13/14,, I thought 14 was the end.. But what do you all think about Kim So-Hyun acting, in this?? She’s really bad, even her crying was not so great. It’s the same facial reaction in most of her drama she plays. Emotionless, nothing great to rave about. But I’m going to finish since I came all the way and love the rest of the cast. Especially the Funny moments they throw in between.

- Min Ju Yeong had plenty of chances to kill Dong Ju. He's giving him chance to live every single time.

- Sometimes there are guns, sometimes there's not. Drama could've ended if they fought with guns.

Nevertheless, those things makes the drama. It's just confusing to think about.

It’s like we don’t even care whether the criminals get caught or not because we never connected with the main character.

It’s not like it’s a super hero movie. As it’s unbelievable enough for the four olympians to take on dozens of criminals without proper backup, Dong-ju takes on a room full of ruthless gangsters all by himself, not once, but over & over again? To collect the watches to make…a point? All of the actors, as always, are very good. I think it’s better to take the time to get a great, or even good, script rather than crank out dramas. My husband refused to keep watching, I’m watching now & then & fast forwarding through the fight scenes.

-Geum Nam is the real godfather of the smuggling world and has been playing the police as an informant.

- the friendly cop is the mole in the police and he covered up Hanna dad's death.

- The bumbling police chief is entirely innocent but caught in a trap and will get shot but survive due to the new bulletproof vest.

- Shin Jae Hong fell into a trap by Min Ju Yeong due to needing money and betrayed by mistake

- Oh Jung Gu was Oh Bong Chan's son and is plotting to avenge his father and establish himself in the place. He might get the other three men to destroy or kill each other.

- Baek Suk Choon's right hand man will betray him.

- Hanna and Sarah were Leo's daughters or nieces and the neighbourhood store granny is the mother.

- Or the mysterious woman who worked in customs is the sister.

- Drugmon is DEA. Or Leo is a Korean undercover in Russia pretending and Mama is his handler.

- Ji Ho Cheol was undercover in Russian mafia. Or Hanna eomma has ties to Russia and will end up with the informant Sergey.

- Man Sik will be the one hurt badly and SCIT will reunite as avengers. Or his daugher and wife will be in danger.

Absolute bad theory--

- Jae Hong will be badly hurt and his family target

- Dong Ju will go into a coma due to punch drunk syndrome and FL and SML will look after him

Jul 03 2025 3:56 pm I don't get the point of why uri Good guys have to suffer so much just for a payoff- especially physically- Dong-joo has head injury complications that keeps getting worse and they are amping up deathflags(plz the drama doesn't have the tone to be ktrauma ending), Hanna has Meniers ig and Jong-hyeon had a ankle injury that got worse & ptsd from being stabbed during the match that keeps him from fighting to his potential & now his shoulder had two consecutive major injuries. Man-shik keeps getting tortured and abused. Jae-hong is the only one nothing happens to and it worries me but he is almost a mascot character same as how he is for the traffic department.

The ordinary customs psycho is the baddest vegetable-hater but I dislike only the ex-coach the most. Although I hope to see flashbacks of KSH and LSY too! Now that we're on the intense scenes, I'm still loving it. The staffs did amazing, it seems like we're starting the "dating" era, then they introduced the "non-romance" episodes! I love it!

The only thing the girl did right, was sacrifice her clothes for a "Hansel & Gretel" move, im surprised she was still moving after that, she would have been freezing her neh-neh off, lol. I still love the cast, they make me laugh, its the script writing I hate the most.

Every actors n actress portray their character perfectly. I love the, “ who has a flat tire” but buys a used tires? And the stare down between Dong-Joo and Jong-Hyeon over Han-na, little stuff like that is funny. A must watch for sure. Very refreshing, and love the chemistry between Dong-Jo and Man-Sik.

Man Sik and Dung Ju couldn't possibly rescue the team with their car because the tunnel is blocked with people lol and Jae Hong with RUI team was ambushed. Even after Dung Ju and Man Sik subdued those men in the front, they eventually got up so Dung Ju left Man Sik to go further. Unless you are talking about other characters, I can't really understand such dumb writing you're referring to.

Anyways, I'm loving this. Not a fan of any of the leads but I like the action. The fl is strong and although she got captured in the end, she didn't go down without a fight haha. I don't really believe she could take down all those men by herself but I really love how she could last that long. And Dung Ju is strong too but he doesn't get rest. After that warning from the doctor, he went to receive punches and hits from here and there. I really wish it will be a happy ending.

Jojo Jun 23 2025 1:41 am Ive enjoyed it, up until i was watching Episode 8.... the fight scene where they try to obtain the container in the tunnel was really pathetic, whoever wrote this part of the story was stupid... I mean why not stay in the vehicle to protect themselves while they go in and rescue their team in the tunnel? Wasted energy fighting ppl when they should have just used them for target practice and run them down with the car - this is what happens when you exaggerate the script, and it ends up looking dumb.

I almost forget he is a very handsome guy. His arch enemy character played by Oh Jung Se. This guy could be anything or anyone. We can sense a creepy aura only by the look of his eyes. It is very enjoyable watching this movie since I can feel angry and also funny at the same time. The director and screen writer I think do a great job mixing it.

In my opinion, the first 30 minutes of any show is vital to get the viewers attention but this show wasn't even remotely able to do this. The story jumps seemingly random from scene to scene, and made me lose interest completely, and don't get me started on the stupidity of the characters - it's beyond believable. - I don't know what genre this show is supposed to be?

From twin sisters in Who Are You, the drama about love alarm application, a woman who can hear lies and now this one (Good Boy). I haven't heard about drama that talks about athletes who became police officers which I think is very unique.

She fits the role as an assassin and princess at the same time, and Good Boy is an action drama so the role fits her. She just looks so young because of her full bangs in My Lovely Liar but without the bangs, she looks matured. Y'all are complaining as if Good Boy is a romance drama. And of course the production will probably style her as 25+ police officer, unlike in My Lovely Liar, her character always acts bubbly and cute that made her look like a little girl.

NJNJ Jan 11 2024 8:56 pm Can't believe this is happening ? After how many years of Sohyun's struggle, she finally gets paired with an actor that has the same caliber as hers when it comes to acting. Not trying to be mean but mostly, she gets paired with rookie actors or idol-actors which is so disappointing sometimes because Knetz are so harsh to kpop idols turning into actors and Sohyun will not grow if she is consistently paired with them but honestly speaking, Sohyun has overflowing chemistry with rookies or idol-actor like Taecyeon, Sungjae and Hwang Minhyun. I don't mind if Bogum-Sohyun will have a siblings chemistry since Good Boy is a non-romance drama. As long as it has well-written plot and lots of action scenes and crime solving, Im Seated!!!

I hope Oh Jung Se is the additional cast for this and it will be perfect. I hope writers and producers will not waste the talents of these two. I hope they promote it well and put it to Netflix for wider audiences.

I have high hopes for the combination of good writer and PD especially Sohyun had worked with the writer before in Let's Fight Ghosts, and she had lots of amazing action scenes there. This time we will see Sohyun in different light. More mature role, more physical movement and Sohyun holding a gun is what I am anticipating for. Fighting Good Boy team ??
