Kyeong-Soo (Ryu Jun-Yeol) is a blind acupuncturist. He is unable to see anything during the daytime, but, strangely, he is able to see like a normal person at night. One evening, Kyeong-Soo happens to witness the death of the crown prince. This death leads King Injo (Yu Hae-Jin) into madness. Kyeong-Soo attempts to reveal the truth behind the crown prince’s death.

Jillibean Apr 08 2025 10:53 am Very dark but still very interesting historical Korean drama, with a great cast, especially the leading man who I had loved so much in Lost K-drama. I watched on Viki soon after it premiered. Recommended.

Laura May 25 2023 1:53 pm I watched this after I found junyeol became best actor ,well he is amazing the way he protrayed blind accupuncturist is aamazing his facial expressions so good . I read about real crown pronce its sad that such a good prince got murdered .

Btw, as of april2023 this movie has bad subtitle so unless you know korean you can't appreciate this brilliant movie. I know the protagonist is half blind and he need darkness to see but the whole film is so dark that the audience can't see anything. I hope they balance that issue while editing. Another is casting of king injo, they purposely cast a very un-oppa actor because they want the viewers to hate the character of the king, that's why they CAN'T cast pretty actor.

seina Feb 23 2023 1:47 am great movie, amazing casts and well written storyline.. it actually based on true story of Kingdom of Joseon history about the sudden death of Crown Prince Sohyeon after he returned to Joseon from Qing as hostage. The real story is the Crown Prince found dead in the King Injo's room with his head blooded, some historical says he's poisoned.
