Baek Soo-Jung (Mun Ka-Young) works as the leader of a planning team at Yongsung Department Store. The department store is widely regarded as the best in the industry. She is a hard worker and is recognized for her top performance at her job. She won't hesitate to butt heads with anyone in the company, rather than suppressing whatever it is that bothers her.

One day, she meets Ban Joo-Yeon (Choi Hyun-Wook) for the first time in 16 years. He begins to work as her boss, the director of the strategic planning division. He is also the successor of the department store. When Baek Soo-Jung was in her teens, she met first met Ban Joo-Yeon through an online game. He used the game ID of "Black Salt Dragon," which was the symbol of teenage angst. That time has remained as one of the worst memories in her life.

In his teens, Ban Joo-Yeon first met Baek Soo-Jung, who used the game ID "Strawberry." He fell in love with her and she was his first love, but, as soon as he confessed his feelings to her, she dumped him. This was first taste of bitterness in his life. 16 years later, Ban Joo-Yeon is now all grown up. He meets Baek Soo-Jung as his subordinate at work.

I'm a big fan of Choi Hyun-wook and I also admire Moon Ga-young. Their acting was wondeful, and the plot is so interesting too! I have to include this too, Ga-young and Se-mi worked together for True Beauty, and they worked together again for My Dearest Nemesis. I miss waiting for new episodes every week, every episode was engaging to watch. I also like one of the sountracks used in particular for this series, which is Moonrise. It's such a relaxing song, it also makes me cry lol. Anyways, to conclude, I just love My Dearest Nemesis.

In ep5 at the farm, there's a private joke when she pretends he's her little brother and he's 5 years younger then her. At first, I didn't believe, but after check, in IRL, there's really a gap of 5 years between them. MKY is 28 and CHW 23.

Characters are cliches and there's no logic behind BJY's grandma's behavior. I know this is a noona donsaeng romance but CHW is too baby faced like 16 and you can't take him seriously as a boss at all!

Best Kdrama of 2025 Feb 26 2025 8:31 pm One of the best Kdrama this year 2025, it's so refreshing. Story is so unique, I love the casting. The lead couple has its charm and chemistry is top notch! The female lead is one of the best character her, I love how she is not that kind of other female lead who always look down by the others. This vibe of the lead character is beyond way different than usual but really works. The male lead also is very good looking which matches the energy and good looks of his female lead as well. The story is very interesting and unique, for sure this drama will go up to its ratings and have recognition moving forward! Also, the korean ost, Stay song at the first episode is very dreamy and catchy the vibe of that song is very old korean drama stuff that I enjoyed and like.

Hello Kitty Feb 26 2025 12:32 am I like Choi Hyun Wook’s role in this drama. He is the only actor truly suited for Ban Joo Yeon. Some say he’s too young, but that’s exactly the point of both the drama and his character. He also gives off Park Seo Joon vibes.

i hope that this drama will be thoroughly crafted, and it will have a happy ending. they are such a cutie couple, despite the age gap. i cannot believe this dongsaeng-noona couple can be this adorable though! just really love this drama. looking forward to seeing more of this.
