Sisters Lee Hye-Won (Lee So-Yeon) and Lee Hye-Ji (Ha Yeon-Joo) were very close when they were children. After their parents divorced, they were separated. Lee Hye-Won went to live with her father and Lee Hye-Ji went live with her mother. Their lives went down different paths, but they both went through difficult times.
As an adult, Lee Hye-Won looks perfect, but she carries emotional wounds. Her life is dominated by her stepmother. Her fiancé is Yoon Ji-Chang (Jang Se-Hyun) and they are
going to marry soon. Yoon Ji-Chang is the son of Yoon Yi-Cheol (Jung Chan), who owns JY Group.
Meanwhile, Lee Hye-Ji has lived through poverty, loneliness, and domestic violence due to her mother and her stepfather. She badly wants to change her life and takes up the new name of Bae Do-Eun. She then meets Yoon Yi-Cheol, who is the owner JY Group. To reboot her life, she enters into an affair with Yoon Yi-Cheol. Then, she meets her older sister Lee Hye-Won for the first time since they were children.
