Su-Mi (Kim Hwan-Hee) is 19-year-old high school student, who has experienced a tough life. She has lived in an orphanage since she was a young child and she doesn't have anybody who cares about her. Su-Mi has also been abused by the orphanage director and she is bullied by students at her school. Su-Mi wants to end her life.
One day, Su-Mi is about to jump off a bridge crossing the Han River. A woman named Seo-Jin (Yoo-Sun) happens to be nearby and stops Su-Mi. Seo-Jin asks Su-Mi to come to the hospice where she works.
