Moon Jung-In (Han Chae-Young) is a highly ambitious woman. She married Dr. Baek Dong-Ho (Choi Ryung) for his money. He had a daughter, Baek Seol-A (later played by Han Bo-Reum), from his previous marriage. Moon Jung-In stole all of Baek Dong-Ho’s assets and then left him. Moon Jung-In became successful in life and she now runs her own entertainment company, which produces drama series. One day, she meets Seo Jin-Ho (Choi Woong) who looks like her first love. Seo Jin-Ho wants to become an actor and he is engaged to Baek Seol-A. He first met Baek Seol-A at an orphanage and grew up together there. Due to Moon Jung-In, Seo Jin-Ho disappears completely.

Meanwhile, because of Moon Jung-In, who married Baek Seol-A's father, Baek Seol-A's life fell into a bottomless pit and she had to grow up in an orphanage. As Baek Seol-A turned her life around after meeting Seo Jin-Ho, her life completely changes again because of Moon Jung-In.

This drama really succeeded in portraying women as stupid, pathetic and prideless. As a woman myself, this was a hard watch. 0/10.

Violent, sells his wife for money, what even is this drama? Seol Ah was supposed to seek revenge but her revenge is the pettiest revenge I have ever seen. Ju Ryun only knows how to scream and smirk. Makes me think her breath stinks. Worst kdrama to ever exist

I still think mr na is a better choice for baek sol…I do wonder is he is min tae’s actual son. The storyline needs to pick up with more discoveries of complex relationships and love interests….

Blasian72 Sep 13 2024 2:28 pm I guess there are 45 more train wreck episodes to go, I was proud that Baek Sol was strong and rejected Woo Jin’s excuses. Who is Woo Jin’s real father….Did Moon Jung have an illegitimate son. She did a paternity test earlier…but there’s probably a twist to that too. This is a typical makjang to keep viewers guessing at what silly or ridiculous plot is next…Baek Sol needs the producer Na to protect her…betcha Woo Jin would get jealous or break off the engagement…unless his alter ego character gets greedy or he has his own motives for revenge.

 I tried to like but it's not really revenge.   Back sol is just crying and full of emotions not doing anything to actually revenge her father.   I can barely look at Moon whatever because she twists her mouth so much and looks weird.   Woo Jin can't act and looks awkward.

Woo Jin deserves whatever is doled out to him because of greed. I can only take so much more BS…then move on to watch something more balanced between good and evil and see actual revenge take place…

Considering that the highlight character of this drama is CEO Moon (perhaps taking inspiration to Red Shoes) because we already know the end game of it all not unless they're fooling us. Anyways I hope to see how Seol-Ah's revenge plays on because we haven't exactly reached "the exciting part".

Patra Sep 03 2024 3:58 am Too many things wrong with this drama- weak storyline, terrible acting by some of the actors including ML and FL, never seen a weaker ML than this actor, they let the villains get away with too much evil eg the lighting incident, its like being evil is being glorified, the MLs fiancee is such a bad actress, always screaming and throwing tantrums- we know she's a spoilt brat but she overdid it, always getting away with all kinds of bad behaviour. Also its like the writer hates the FL, he made her so weak and pathetic, it was hard sympathising with her bcos of her treatment by the ML. She allowed herself to be trampled on like a rug by everybody including the ML who treated her like trash....she was obsessed with him but he didn't really care for her, he only cared about his acting career, money and fame.She wasted too much time and energy and should have moved on when she found out about him and his new hf. But she held on for life. Hated her character bcos she was too weak

This series shoukd have been  wrapped up in 30- 35 Eps bcos of the weak storyline,  there is no need dragging  it to 55 Eps Imho

Ji Ho and Ju Ryun deserve each other both are dishonest, play head games, and are greedy. In this makjang the villains take up way too much time being stupid and manipulating everyone else. This is a drip, drip, drip series with any kind of possible ending

Given the creativity of the screenwriter, it must have been her husband and the dilemma of the romance between the annoying woman and the director must be his paternity. I still don't understand how HanChaeYoung accepted this bombshell. I'm sure it was the bills.

She has gained several pounds since her first appearance on the small screen, but she is nearly 44 years old, a mother, and not a twenty-year-old rookie actress anymore. As for her upper carriage, she has been known as the "Barbie Doll of Korea" since being discovered on a trip to Seoul on vacation many years ago. These things are easily researched on the same internet used to attack her. A little prior knowledge can go a long way to prevent one from making a fool of themselves, however anonymously it may be, on a public forum. You sound like jealous middle school mean girls rather than grownups. Shame on you!

Miss Han seems to have gained about twenty pounds since I last saw her. She's going to be plenty ruthless until that final drop it seems. I like this cast. I see many familiar faces, which is why I enjoy the daily dramas so much. It's going to be a bumpy ride. Shakespeare, K-Drama style!

The murderous witch dies a horrible, violent death, with a half or dozen or so of those she’s trampled on lining up to be the suspects. It will be interesting to see what happens in the flashbacks.

Blanca Trueba Jun 19 2024 9:12 am A villain female lead! And she died by the end of the first episode lol. I am at the second episode now and it flashes back to 22 years ago. Reminds me of A Shop For Killers where the male lead (Lee Dong Wook) died by the first episode and then goes to flashbacks.

Quite interested to see how this drama brings us. Will Moon Jung-in be back to life similar to Jeong Jin-man? :D :D

I am also quite impressed with the child actress Jo Eun-Sol, who portrays the young Baek Seol-A in episode 2. Her acting performance has much improved and she has more screen time in this drama compared to in My Happy Ending.

Looking forward to the next episodes...
