Maruko (Fumiya Takahashi) is a young delivery man. An apartment building that he goes in and out of everyday becomes the subject of a rumor that people disappear one after the other there. By chance, he discovers a secret of a suspicious resident in the apartment building. Maruko talks about this with his co-worker Arakawa (Kei Tanaka), who dreams of becoming a novel writer. They try to find out the identity of the suspicious resident, but they unexpectedly get involved in a big incident.
