Lee Na-Mi (Chun Woo-Hee) works as a marketer at a start-up company. She is an ordinary office worker who works hard everyday. On a fateful day, Lee Na-Mi loses her smartphone, but she luckily gets her phone back. Since that time, her ordinary peaceful day are threatened. Oh Jun-Yeong (Yim Si-Wan) happens to pick up Lee Na-Mi’s smartphone. Oh Jun-Yeong , who approaches Lee Na-Mi by using her smartphone, commits crimes using smartphones.

Meanwhile, Detective Woo Ji-Man (Kim Hee-Won) investigates a murder case involving a dead body that was found on a remote mountain. There, he finds clues that points to his son Woo Jun-Yeong as the possible perpetrator.

Cherry May 10 2023 3:22 pm This movie was good acting wise,the cinematography was good too. The cast really did exceptional but the plot, didn't quite sit right with me. Ofcouse who'd give their password just for a Screen change but..i kinda get it that they did it to make the plot progress even then there were still many questions. Like what was the motive for killing,what is his name,why did he say"you should've been a better father" to na mi's father. Many things left unsaid and unsolved. This should've been a series with atleast 4 episodes to tie up everything neatly.

You think that her breaking up with friend was stupid because you think from perspective of viewer and not her. Guy was stranger but she thought that he works for her friend's company which was legit. He didn't say to her " Eun-Joo hacked your phone", he just said that could be done by someone who was with her that night. From her perspective he just stated fact as expert and it is her who connected dots because only she knew who was with her that night. Majority people would think like her unless already they would suspect Jun-Yeong to be hacker.

Scenario become sketchy before that scene. I still think that anyone would first suspect situation with lost phone after being hacked. Especially that it was already pretty suspicious and It was only 3 days. Plus guy who she "coincidentally" met was working for cyber security company. That should already be red flag especially that her father said that he pretends to be regular.

Yeah policemen like always Korean dumb style. There are some dumbs thing in the middle of the story but overall it is very well directed and acted.

Chip Feb 23 2023 4:50 am Not much for thrillers, but this was exceptional! Excellent acting. I especially like Kim Ye-Won, her best friend. She is a brilliant actress who should get more top roles. She was brilliant as a drunk woman in "Revolutionary Love" - I think, Episode 8. The technical hacking was real, just search for Pegasus software from Israel, which can do just that! So beware!

April Feb 21 2023 11:15 am My gosh, Si-Wan! After his psycho character in Emergency Declaration, this movie not only solidifies, but cemented Siwan as a best idol-turned-actor. He is so natural in villain roles, how can I see him again in a different light now hahahah. ~and Chun Wonhee, the actress that you are! She is the brilliant actress in true story movie, Han Gong Ju, and she doesn't seem to age. Perfect casting indeed!

Bella Feb 21 2023 12:49 am This was such a good movie that I would recommend. With how easily people can hack go through your phone without you even noticing it creeps me out. The part that was sad was the detectives son who died first, and he found out through his chief not realising that his son is actually dead. Im so glad that the girls dad is still alive, because like she basically lost everything that she worked hard for.

The female lead is so great at portraying her character, solid acting skills!! even her eyes can act daebakk!! just looking at her eyes you will felt her emotions. And to my fav actor im siwan you did great even though you don't look like a psycho to me haha. All in all this is such a good movie, it gives viewers a lesson.

It started alright, the whole hacking theme is indeed creepy because of how real and possible it is and specially that scene when she puts her cell to charge and you can see it turn on and browse through everything really fast. But the rest of the movie it just felt mediocre, they had a good idea but wasn’t properly executed. And unfortunately I have to say that as much as I liked him in other works, Siwan really didn’t give serial killer vibes :/ since the plot wasn’t that great I wanted his acting to give me the hibbie jibbies but it didn’t the whole stalking just came off as childish

Technology is really scary thing specially now that an AI can already do art, writing an article and now there is even Deep Fake of Celebrity. What am saying with the kind of Technology we have now what happened in the movie can happened in real life. It really baffles when people often or always blame the Victims. Like what Happened with Benita Alexander who was a victim of a "pathological conman" please watch her Documentary and you will understand my point. So please becareful don't trust strangers and also don't entairtain spam messages.

Charaa Feb 18 2023 11:35 pm Im Siwan and Woo Hee acted the role well. However I think the overall movie and plot were below my expectation.

Sure, stupid main protagonist and cops are a must in a crime thriller movie, but could've used some new ideas to portray it. I thought we could put some hope on the characters but their stupidity was too obvious.

What kind of vvveeryy close friends break up just because of what a (handsome) stranger said? Sure it was 'for the plot', but the execution doesn't make sense. At least give them a bit of effort to keep their 'friendship'.

The part where the female lead planned to trap the guy sounded promising, but it would be cooler if they did not explain it word by word in the beginning. It became cringe and giving off naive superhero syndrome. Which, ofc, in the end they failed to execute.

The ending... Siwan's expression is no doubt amazing. Still wondering why they had to put the horribly unnecessary ending. Do you feel good and relieved now after doing that? If they want to insert that scene so badly, I think they failed to build enough tension and motive that could justify what the female lead did in the end. It ended up just as "yeah the director told me to do that so I did it"

Ah, what a waste of talented actors.

I don’t really want him playing the villain though. I know he’s a great actor, and he can pull-off any role. But for some reason, it hurts me to see that side of him as an actor.
