A cruel fate mystery series with 7 stories revolving around someone finding a tarot card and becoming trapped in a curse due to their choice.

"Santa’s Visit" - Ji-Woo (Cho Yeo-Jeong) is a working mom who raises her daughter alone. While she is working, some strange and eerie things happen to her daughter, who is left alone at home.

"Please Throw Away" - Dong-In (Kim Jin-Young) is a veteran delivery rider. Something bizarre things happen to him.

"Going Home" - Kyeong-Rae (Ko Kyu-Pil) gets in a taxi hurriedly in the middle of the night and he is engulfed in fear and anxiety.

Santa's Visit The mum character is winding me up. She claims to be very worried about a potential intruder with her daughter she left alone at home, but she texts instead of calls and when she asked her boss to let her go home early, she walks so slowly and leisurely and even pauses and just stands there while talking to her daughter on the phone—like, run home b!tch! you saw someone filming your daughter, why aren't you in a hurry?!

Couple Management What a toxic relationship! The girlfriend who lies and cheats—only staying with boyfriend until she finds someone better and more successful, having an affair to secure a "better" boyfriend before she breaks up. The boyfriend who is so obsessed about marrying her, he refuses to use a condom, tries to baby-trap her and when that doesn't work, he lets someone break her legs so she will be "less appealing" to other men and become dependent on him; then he eventually finds her less appealing so he starts to cheat too. They deserve each other. Go get married and be miserable.

Please Throw Away A customer gets obsessed with a handsome delivery rider. She's not subtle with her advances and he rejects her. She thinks it's because she's fat and that his ideal type must be skinny girls, but personally I think it's because she's a creep and hella demanding. Whenever he delivers to her door, she forces him to drink or eat and when he finally refused (because the water she offered didnt taste right so it's only fair to be sus and not take any more food from a stranger), she offered him money as tip instead. One time later she asked him to get inside and suggested to do something segsual, which is fockin creepy! He responded more harshly this time and outright rejected her telling her dont expect him to come again. She falsely reports him for segsual harassment to the delivery company and they had to block all delivery requests going to him until investigation is over. He goes to her apartment and demands that she withdraws the claim of harassment because it's not true (if anything, she harassed him by trying to solicit segsual favors) and also this is his livelihood. She initially refuses until he promises to deliver to her house every day. She relented and hands him over a money tip with a bloody trashbag to throw away for her. They did this for several days until curiosity overtook him on why the bags are always smelly and bloody. He finds a fresh slab of flesh when he opens it but he couldnt tell if it was animal or human meat. On the day he thought about finally confronting the girl about the bags of flesh, he found her door open and goes inside. Turned out the pieces of flesh are actually hers. She's been cutting off pieces of her own flesh to become "skinny". She captures him with a bear trap. She says since she sacrificed this much to become his ideal type, he must also sacrifice to be her ideal type (her ideal type is a quiet man btw). It seems she cut off or damaged his vocal cords and sew his lips shut. Apparently this is the lead actor's (Dex) debut into acting. How he got to be the lead is surprising. I'm not saying he's a bad actor, he's actually decent and promising. I'm just surprised they gave someone with no experience in professional acting yet the lead role. Normally, even the good ones only get supporting character roles then they work their way up. Anyway, he was great and i won't be surprised if he gets more projects soon.

Rent Mom I didn't fully understand this story. It starts with the trope of rich vs poor. A rich mum becomes friends with a poor mum because the poor mum's daughter saved the rich mum's daughter from a dog attack. It doesn't seem like a genuine friendship. It seems like rich mum just feels indebted or she just likes being seen as humble and kind(?) I dunno but she used the expression "it's nice to eat junk food once in a while". In any case, the poor mum's daughter seem to have 6th sense, there was a female ghost that falls down head first in the middle of the room but it wasnt really explored further like what was up with that? In the end, real feelings come out—rich mum belittle poor mum telling her to know her place, turns into an altercation then death. it turned out that the dog attack was orchestrated by the poor mum's daughter so her mum can befriend the mum of the child she'll fake-save, and in the end the daughter was petting her mum like a pet, like what is going on??

Going Home A cheating husband committing a series of murders that started with an affair. I dont know if he's lucky or unlucky. he kept getting into bad circumstances and he also keeps getting away by killing. I wanted him to get caught because he's kinda stupid, it's embarassing to be overpowered by a doofus. For example, why would a cop sit beside the suspect (no handcuffs) in the backseat just to question him? Why didn't they check his pockets for potential weapons?

Phishing Sunja, a bait video content creator, baits men and humiliates them. Horrible woman who says she hates ugly men trying to have a one-night stand with beautiful women so she pretends to be consenting to seggs to guys she meets online, she hides while she watches them arrive, and when they're "ugly", she sets up a trap where she makes them do nasty and embarassing things while she streams them live, then she doxes them afterward. Both sides are supposed to be consenting adults so I kinda feel sorry for the men she victimizes. She got her comeuppance with the last having a violent streak. I understand that he'd want to take revenge because Sunja is honestly a very awful person, but he's actually the same or worse because he's a killer. No likeable characters, even the police is useless. She reports potentially having an intruder and they just walked around her apateu apateu to check, didn't even open cabinets or check under tables.

One-person Storage I'm a happy loner so I'm confused with the character of Jae-yoon. He's a handsome guy who's frequently approached by women, but he mopes around and claims to be very lonely. It's confusing because women approach him all the time but he doesn't talk much and just stares into space; his friend often invites him to hang-out but he always tries to refuse—it's like he doesn't want to be around people, but he complains about always being alone and feeling lonely. I get that he's shy and nervous but if he wants companions, he should make more of an effort with the people he meets. I suppose with the ending of him being literally alone stuck in the backrooms would help him realize he wasn't truly alone when he was in normal world since he was surrounded by people and often approached by people. in a way, by acting distant, he chose to be alone. in the backrooms, he has no choice because he's really stuck there by himself.

Overall, the series was great. Not outstanding but still very enjoyable. I dont really have a favorite story, but if i had to pick one, I suppose "Please Throw Away" was the most engaging, only because I was curious about the glimpses of the day in the life of delivery people. The least engaging is probably One-Person Storage because it seems the most dramatic in the sense that it tries to make the viewers sad with the characters, and I don't understand why a character who doesn't want to be alone and lonely doesn't talk to the people who are actively reaching out to him, like make an effort man! It seems he doesnt want to be friends with outgoing people, what he wants is someone who is equally or more miserably alone and lonely and i didnt feel bad for him about his tragic fate. I hope they make more. there are still a lot of tarot cards that remain unused and would make great premises of stories.

The actor and actress portray their characters well is no doubt but the script and the storyline is not right. The umphhh or wow or goshh I really can’t feel it in this drama. Cut it short, wasting time.

sheree Aug 08 2024 9:41 pm should've been released as korean drama right from the start. separating the first three episodes and tagged as korean movie couldn't make this different from the other not-so-good kmovie/kdrama. honestly, I didn't enjoy watching it. it's as if I'm watching a horror film created for kids like the ones we have here in the PH.

Ran Aug 06 2024 5:40 pm This kdrams is literally not worth the time.This kdrama would’ve been perfect if they just explained the reason on why these people are suffering.. and there are so many unexplained scenes and I literally can’t understand. Especially the way in episode 2 they did not get a tarot card.. and why was there unnecessary inappropriate scenes like they could’ve just portrayed the “cheating” without showing any nudity. The only things I like about this drama was how good the acting was..literally the best. Also the plot twists were insane. Dex episode literally was funny and he slayed the role, the child actors were really good too. I hope they make another season to explain everything because if they did I would give this kdrama 10/10.

heachan Aug 06 2024 9:32 am Korean has a knack for thrillers/horrors. Usually its good but i do notice patterns of whenever they do shorts for these genres.. it's usually bad. The acting was good. Storyline could've been better. Their shorts are always boring. Do i recommend it? No. But the acting was good. Use it as you may of the information

Dodo Aug 05 2024 9:35 pm I wouldn’t recommend it. I think they wanted to create something interesting and unique, but for me, it didn’t deliver well. However, I still finished it because the episodes are short, and I didn’t mind wasting some time. In my opinion, the best episodes are 1st, 2nd, and 5th.
