Jin Jung (Do Kyung-Soo) works as a prosecutor. He relies sometimes on expedient action and trickery, rather than standard practices of law. At the same time, he has a deep sense of justice and conscience. He will stand on the side of the weak and fight against the wicked, extracting eye for an eye justice.

Park Min Feb 16 2024 2:19 pm The bad prosecutor didn't live up to his name, at least not for the entirety of the drama. The first 4 episodes were decent but the rest were an imitation of its previous spark. Everything up to the final confrontation of the first guy was enjoyable but everything turned into a generic prosecutor/team drama afterwards. No more of the bad prosecutor attitude and his appeal almost diminished, there was a small recovery around the end but it was already too late. Speaking of teams, the sidekicks were pretty bad at being a sidekick especially Baek Eun Ji, just horrible! The team in general lacked a good dynamic, the ML was pulling all the weight by himself. It could've been something decent if more care was put into it.

KST Aug 17 2023 4:15 am I would have missed this drama if D.O is not here. Anyhow I really enjoyed watching this drama. The team around Jin prosecutor was really lovable. This drama is really thrilling. The beginning was little bit draggy but when it comes to the mid the plot was really interesting. I can recommend this to all who like to watch thrillers with mystery.

I really felt like I was watching the American drama How to Get Away With Murder. Well, not exactly, but it was a similar style, but without the gratuitous sex and unnecessary side romance plot.

Yes there were things the characters did that had me scratching my head but the writing was still very good and the acting was superb.

Kyungsoo, my ❤️, you have found your calling. Of course you are beautiful singer but anyone could see that idol life was not you. (Not knocking idols, or EXO, or any of my fellow EXO-Ls out there). D.O.'s place is on the TV/movie screen. He just oozes charisma!

Ha Joon did the WORK in this role! Excellent job!

I could list everyone really and talk about how fanstatic they were but the review would get too long.

Kim Chang-Wan, there's nothing he can't do.

If i had one teenie tiny complaint it would be about the fight scenes. They were well choreographed, directed well, acted well.. all that... Yet I still found it to be wholly unbelievable that my short King Kyungsoo was kicking soo much ass all by himself. They should have devoted much more time to his thrilling back story of being a multi belt Taekwondo or Jujitsu master if he was gonna be fighting multiple times an episode in dad jeans.

I think this show was created after the American corruption that is taking place within the current government administration! It definitely reveals why it is so hard to catch corrupt crime families in high places!

Eloisa Apr 16 2023 11:04 am Kyungsoo is allergic to disappointing, deadass. Favorite law drama of 2022, rewatching it for the sheer Quality of it. Bless the fact that there's no forced romance here, either. Law dramas don't need smooches while the client is about to get life in prison, lol.

9/10 simply because I wish we got 16-21 episodes :((

Shairli Apr 04 2023 5:26 am I was really looking forward to this drama. Cast & title esp DO fit the drama but I was so disappointed with the flow of the story. I dont mind the main being a bad ass prosecutor but the scriptwriter made him look stupid too. So frustrated! Wasted!

I really like how the character fights for justice to the end and the never give up attitude to fight corruption together with the team. I want to thank the director for this thrilling script, production team and all the casts. Well done!

It’s wonderful Drama series with wonderful Casts, full of excitement and loud laugh, I enjoyed every single second, seriously this kind of drama make my day and raise my mood to feel better after a hard day.. hopefully there is a second season to enjoy more, bcs it’s too short 12eps

MyuMyu Nov 14 2022 9:27 am I really don't like the hasty nature like Jin Jung, with him revealing the card he is holding to Seo Hyunkyu makes him not look like a wise prosecutor at all, he always makes decisions as if it was a wise decision in a stylish manner. cool, but i see him as a sloppy prosecutor, i like d.o., but the jin jung character he plays is really annoying, at least prepare carefully before attacking your opponent, not just attack like that, if you know your opponent is strong at least prepare a plan , b, and c too. I watch only because he is D.O

Marathon24 Nov 01 2022 12:07 am Nice drama. I always like legal/crime drama. Although this one is somehow predictable. The one with the blue steril gloves is obviously the female secretary. And the main villain/mastermind is the CEO of the law firm. I like the three siblings, and how Jin Jung uses many tricks along with his friends to catch the bad guys. 12 episodes only, so it's quite light. Give it a go.

TW Oct 27 2022 11:41 pm D O has become really good in acting. I always liked his singing as part of EXO. I think he will be extremely successful as an actor. His character in this drama is really good and funny. I am also surprised to see Lee Se Hee in this. She was really good in Young Lady and Gentleman as a young woman who falls in love with older Gentleman boss. Here she is playing a prosecutor. Glad to see her playing abit older part. I think the culprit in killing the head prosecutor is the head of the law firm. Really liking this drama. Only 12 episodes for this drama.

But, (mini episode 1 spoilers coming) with the clues so far, I feel like I can already tell how it's gonna go (and many kdramas follow the same formulas so i havent been wrong in a while). As soon as he found that watch, and with him mentioning higher ups are corrupt, i feel it's maybe his chief or one of his bosses that hired the left hand guy to cover up for their murder. I hope not, cuz that storyline is way too played out at this point. But i'm gonna keep watching and hope for at least entertaining!
