Working as a lawyer, Ran Kagura (Mirai Shida) defended her close friend from a false murder charge, but her friend was found guilty. Ran Kagura then disappeared from the legal field. One year later, a legal essay is written under the name of Ran Kagura is posted on the internet and becomes popular. The writer is admired as an unbeatable lawyer by the readers. One day, the writer using the pen name of Ran Kagura appears in front of the real Ran Kagura. The essay writer is Jin Kurosawa (Shunsuke Kazama). He is a mysterious person, but a genius writer. With the help of Jin Kurosawa, Ran Kagura restarts her work as a lawyer to clear her best friend's name. Meanwhile, secrets are held by Ran Kagura's best friend and Jin Kurosawa, which are connected to the case.
