Plot

Hong Nan-Hee (Soo-Ae) has never hit a home run in life, not to mention a single as she reaches 30. She thought she worked hard to get ahead in life but all she has are some small savings in her bank account and a mother nagging her to get married. But she has one thing to be happy about in her life. Her current boyfriend is Jung-joo, a talented baseball pitcher who is aiming to play in the big leagues in America and eight years her junior. But her mother disapproves of her daughter’s crazy choice.

One day, a childhood friend of Nan-Hee appears in her life. And he’s Hyung-Tae (Lee Jung-Jin). Hyung-Tae thinks he got over Nan-Hee but is that really true? As a friend tells Hyung-Tae that life begins at the bottom of the ninth with two outs, we’ll see how the game of life unfolds.

herbmom Dec 05 2013 9:48 pm A lot of fun! Tears of laughter, sorrow, and joy. The chemistry between all the actors was amazing. My one disappointment was in the finale. After all they had been through together, the ending lacked substance. When Hyung-Tae finally kisses Nan-Hee, it was not the least bit romantic. It seemed hard and forced. He was so tender with her in general, it was surprising that the kiss was not sweeter. After that, they seemed too casual with each other. I understand that they are comfortable together, but a few more sparks seemed appropriate. They seemed less connected than at any time during the whole drama. All in all, a very enjoyable way to spend some hours. I just wanted more in the ending.

Aż ostatecznie, po nieskończonym terminie, z łoskotem łopat osiadł na zrujnowanej przechadzce mocarny Mi-24.

Frodo drgnął, kiedy Wagner stuknął go w odłam, Łomotanie wirnika ucichło, stłumione poprzez las, Mi-24 leciał nisko, w pewnej mierze przeczesując podwoziem korony sosen, zniknął.

bmoore Oct 12 2013 8:06 pm I agree with Hibye. Of the 200+ dramas I have watched this is definitely a top 5. I loved this. I thought the writing of the relationships was terrific. The complexity of feelings between people more realistic than about any drama I have watched. The chemistry, not just with the 2 leads, but with Nan Hee and Jung joo was, pun intended, out of the ballpark stunning. My heart ached over that broken relationship with Jung joo and I cry, not just in the scenes, but every moment I look back on how broken hearted they both were, induces tears. I have watched this 3 times now and not lost one iota of my feelings for this show.

I love how this drama describes relationships between friends,lovers and i can find myself related to their feelings.Great acting from both leads,they were so natural,with a great chemistry. Thank you all who contributed for this drama,it is one of its kind,brings up so many feelings.

The chemistry is perfect. :) and ohh I LOOVE Lee Jung-Jin after this. This drama is not about beisbol, give it a try if you're looking for a sweet and mature experience.
