10 years ago, Tetsuro Kakioka (Taiga Nakano) didn’t want to get involved with the ryokan owned by his father. The ryokan has been in his family for about 100 years. Tetsuro Kakioka runs away from his hometown and moves to Tokyo. He cycles through several jobs, but none of them are successful. One day, he hears that his father has been hospitalized. Tetsuro Kakioka returns to his hometown for the first time in 10 years. He sees that the ryokan, run by his father, has completely changed. The ryokan is now a complete mess.
