Park Min Feb 19 2023 1:05 pm I have one major problem with this drama and that's the pacing/flow. Stories don't progress in parallel, the writer dedicate a chunk of episodes for every side story while making almost no progress on the main story. For example, Nam Seon story took a big chunk and it was the main focus during that to the point everything else was put on hold. Even the leads weren't safe from this practice. After the first 30-40 episodes they almost had no role in the story. Another thing I didn't like is how inappropriate some characters' inclusion in the story. For example, Noh Young Ki had absolutely no business in shoving in himself with the leads. Completely out of place and was only done because the writer didn't write anything else for him. There were a lot of trashy characters in the drama and the writer's solution to fix them is to take away their money. Basically, the writer is telling us that rich = trashy.

zombie Oct 19 2018 9:58 am just finished the last epi 120 what a wonderful drama this was from epi one to the last epi i enjoyed it every bit of it no dull moments or boring epi i never skipped anything everything was worth watching even the bullies grandma and grand daughter was worth watching i want to thank the writer for giving me so much fun and great time so im starting to feel the withdrawal syndrome now im gonna miss dowon and the chef so dearly i completely fell for dowon the bad girl was not bad either in the end she repent for all the bad deeds beg for forgiveness and did her penitence from deep down my ratings 10 out of 10 this was a perfect drama for me so i recommended if you are hesitating to watching this i guarantee no regrets in the end

zombie Sep 17 2018 6:25 am bit old but great drama so far just finished epi 40 i think the philipine guy virgilio lee namsun stole the show here at times hilarious with his accent which he probably did a lot of reaserch to get it so funny at first i thought he was a real philipine guy living in korea but later i found out he is a native korean he shouldve got an award for this performance i think comedy is the hardest thing to do compared to drama cuz you have to be born to make people laugh it can not be learned or practiced

Rewo Mar 22 2016 9:03 pm Drama drags on and on. Just when we came close to the revelation of the truth, some bits of truth get withheld and we move backwards a few steps. So frustrating to watch! Only character admirable is Oh Mal-Soo who although stubborn, is focused and clear about her objectives. Her sad past spurred her on to do better for her future. She judges her daughter objectively and does not condone the latter's wrongdoing! I find Song Do-Won boring and stupid, slow to respond to evil elements around her while the antagonist Nam Hye-ri more interesting to watch! She is quick-witted, resourceful and conniving as she puts herself above the law! She is really a carbon copy of her grandmother's arrogant and high-handed personality! There are enough scheming antagonistic characters and convoluted subplots in this drama but don't make the pullback from the revelation of the truth so frequent and obvious!

helomekinvegas Oct 24 2015 7:37 pm The character Hyeri and her grandmother are just two peas in a pod. There are too many hateful characters in this drama. Isn't she a little cross eyed at certain camera angles. Weird.

I hope a lot of ppl will start to recognize him after this drama! the chem of chaeah with him is great! i highly recommend this drama! alma Jan 08 2015 5:53 am I like this drama, I haven't seen Sung Hyuk and Chae Ah act, but with this drama I find them cute and I think they have chemistry, they look like real couple. I like the story between the two, I like the attitude of Ji-Gun(Sung Hyuk) on how he defend Dowon(Chae Ah) toward his family and Hyeri. I hope the story will be more interesting as it goes.

I like this program so far. I agree Hye Ri is a wicked witch. And I really like Sung Hyuk. Glad that he got another leading role.
