Plot

Bong Dal-Ho (Cha Tae-Hyun) fronts a heavy metal band in small town in South Korea. A manager of small record label in Seoul visits the nightclub where Dal-Ho's band is rehearsing. The manager listens to Dal-Ho sing and becomes convinced he can become a top star. The manager follows Dal-Ho to a restaurant and offers him a recording contract with Big Sound Entertainment. Dal-Ho accepts the offer immediately. When Dal-Ho arrives in Seoul, he is shocked to learn that he will be performing "trot" (traditional Korean pop songs) music. Unable to get out of his signed contract, Dal-Ho takes to the stage wearing a mask and becomes an overnight sensation.

KB Sep 14 2013 9:30 am Excellent movie! Very entertaining and very funny. I don't speak Korean, I found this movie on Amazon Prime Instant Video with English subtitles. I like the movie so much, I bought the DVD. After watching this movie, I became a big fan of Cha Tae-hyun; he's an excellent actor and and all around entertainer. I highly recommend all of his movies.
