Park Dong-Ha (Jung Woo) is an ordinary breadwinner of his family. He is married to Kang Eun-Ju (Yoon Jin-Seo). Kang Eun-Ju has a secret that nobody knows about. Meanwhile, Park Dong-Ha is going through financial difficulties and he is on the verge of divorcing his wife. One day, he happens to find a vehicle with a lot of money inside. This leads to his involvement with Ma Kwang-Chul (Park Hee-Soon), who is the number two guy in a drug ring.

Detective Kang Joo-Hyun (Park Ji-Yeon), who is the leader of an anti-drug crime team, investigates Park Dong-Ha and Ma Kwang-Chul.

thrillme Aug 16 2024 11:04 am Half empty, half full mess. The acting is good, scenery good, the dad is an idiot. The ending was a failure. It's another of those stories that requires you depending on the favorite actor to drag you along in the life saver. When the son asks should he get better or stay sick the dad needed smacking for not saying what a proper dad would know to say. The writing is wasteful but got through it anyway with the right actor till they died.

Park Min Feb 07 2024 8:15 am The drama was a big hot mess I don't even know where to start. The synopsis turned out to be a bit misleading from what we were presented. The family wasn't really involved as the journey was mostly one-sided led by the father. Right from the beginning we were introduced to this broken-beyond-repair family but they don't "band together" as the synopsis suggests, they just tolerate each other in this sticky situation. There were a lot of points to pick up from the story but everything boiled down to having one of the sloppiest writing efforts, this might have worked for a mediocre action flick bloated with action scenes but not for 10 episodes drama. The drama had the chance to get on the right track by episode 4 but they doubled down, and then tripled down around episode 7 when they introduced the father. They also quadrupled down when they attempted to shove in a lot of backstory in the last 2 episodes to make the climax emotional. They slapped in the +18 rating just so that they can light up a cigarette in every single scene, in particular, Kang Joo Hyun was lighting up a cigarette in every scene she had. Their lack of creativity was apparent. The most frustrating thing about the entire drama was Dong Ha never letting off some steam. He never lost his nerves or screamed out loud through the entire thing despite his world collapsing from every angle, except that one time at his students which was totally irrelevant. The last episode was mostly a very fast wrap up with no room to talk or do anything, they were cleaning off the cast that they won't be including in the sequel. With all of that, Netflix had the audacity to tease for a continuation!

Future kdrama star Jul 10 2023 5:40 pm I'm on episode 8, the writing is fair but could be better. its not fantasy, horror or supernatural where the viewer suspend belief but I'm suspended belief watching. I give it 6/10 stars.

Park Hee Soon is the star here. His talent is amazing. The cast did good job with the script.

The show is entertaining but The parents are the worst in kdrama history! LOL. I can't believe the ML is a professor but he is written to makes dumb choices. He acts on impulse but claims to care about his family.

A selfish Dad would steal all the money and bring all the mess to his own house. A selfish Mom would join her husband in his drug mule work instead of divorcing and keeping her children safe from their crazy dad. They don't care about their kids.

Ive given up on the ML so I'm watching the rest of the show for the showdown between Ma Kwang-Chul and the Yong Soo ring. LOL.

Kenneth Oct 27 2022 7:29 pm To be honest is very poorly written. The actors and actresses were good but the storyline was very simple and very predictable. The main actor's role was a man that's too stupid to be believable. The wife should have divorced him years ago. I ended up fast forwarding through every episode just to see how it finishes. I would recommend the American Show Breaking Bad much better

The storyline was very good, the character portrayals were excellent, the pace of the story was good and each episode keeps you on your toes. I would definitely recommend this series, I finished it in 2 days. I hope there’s a season 2.

Start watching this, and before you know it, the first episode is over and you’re thinking, oh crap, now you need to start the next episode immediately. A definite binge worthy show. If you’ve got 7 hours to kill, this will do it.
