An Dan-Te (Sung Hoon) is a director at Yoosung CRC, which specializes in restructuring companies. He does not express his feelings and he is a perfectionist at work. He seems cold-blooded. To save the game company Joybuster from bankruptcy, An Dan-Te is sent there and begins to work as their new CEO.

Meanwhile Shin Yeon-Hwa (Han Bo-Reum) is head of game development at Joybuster. She works on a new game, which can satisfy CEO An Dan-Te, but they come into conflict on pretty much everything.

The actors acting was excellent and the story line is a light hearted one. Don’t let the comments deter you from watching this. I loved it

Queenie May 19 2022 5:32 pm I love Sung Hoon! I have seen my sweet romance, Love(ft marriage and divorce) and this (level up) . I have realized his acting in each is so believable! He is a very good actor. The 3 shows I’ve watched him in have 3 very different roles and he played each one flawlessly in my book! He has this charm about him that his irrisitable. I love Romcoms and he is excellant in them as well. I have many favorite Actors and he is right there at the top! Can’t wait to find another good drama with him in it!

The romance is focused on the second lead then it ends on the main with the second lead in pain without chances to be with the girl. I hate those kind of dramas. Dream High was good because the second lead got the girl in the end.

TeeTee Aug 20 2021 7:11 pm I started it a little late but I'm glad I watched when I did. Really laid back, easy going yet very entertaining and in some ways touhing drama. It is epecially enjoyable after watching an intense drama like Voice or The Guest to releave one of those intense emotions.

Rhed May 21 2020 10:14 pm There we go, Just finished it! tbh when I first started the drama, after watching the first two eps I debated whether I should continue or not but decided to give it a go and rn I don't regret the choice I made. Although the first two episodes were slow the next ones got better one by one and even the second one was better than the first one so it really felt like a level up from each episode. After seeing the reviews and all the bad comments, I wasn't expecting anything much but I enjoyed the drama and laughed all the way towards the end! Thanks to the whole team and good luck to all

This drama is trash only reason I finished it was cause of Sung Hoon & Baro the other cast members I’m not familiar with however they made the best of this trash writing this drama is simply “PETTY” if I wanted to watch petty I could’ve just watched a housewives reality show. NexViper CEO being petty over nothing it’s DT job to do what he does (yes he was a d*ck) however NexViper CEO wasted all his energy cause he upset he didn’t run his Co right and what real CEO has time to be petty NONE cause there too busy running their on sh*t. The second lead female just crazy & petty to she knew he didn’t like her but kept deluding herself thinking she had a shot DT left no hope for her to even make that assumption of she still had a chance. This drama was a waste of The cast Talents and a stain to their portfolios

Shinchan Oct 11 2019 2:50 am I loved this Drama Sung Hoon's acting was good to. But I really think Sung Hoon should take a different role. All his characters is same starting from Nobel, My Love, My Secret Romance, I Accidentally Picked Up A Star From The Road to this Drama Level Up. All These Dramas are same. He's a cold hearted boss who doesn't believe in love or doesn't have the time to love someone. I really think he should change it and take different roles.

I hope I'll see him in a different role soon. Oppa Hwaighting!!

Noek Oct 06 2019 5:26 am I followed SungHoon to this drama. His acting was great, he was the only reason I stayed watching it. Was interested on the few first few episodes, but start fast-forwarded since ep.6. Really pissed-off of the peoples around him. The workers who lacked any respect to their new ceo and all hated him no matter how hard he tried to save the company. The shareholder who cornered him and his highschooler stepbrother who didnot respect him as big brother or have any gratitude of being taken cared by him after hia parents passed away and always robbed him for gaming equipment. I don't know whether I can finished this till the end or hopefully SungHoon only can save me.

I thought there will be more than 16 since the story is very slow so I presumes they might have a lot of time remaining to bring us some development of the stories of the leads and some character development but if this is the case then I must say its such a waste. They have good actors and actresses but the writers wasn't as good. So sad that Sung Hoon oppa only plays roles on mediocre stories nowadays ?

Other than that, what is up with girls thinking they can be demanding and territorial towards someone without even having the relationship/girlfriend title. IMO he was being beyond reasonable and kind for ever tolorating that nonsense. I have never met anyone that likes a possesive partner...no idea why people choose to be like that. Glad these are fictional characters. My emotions are way too tied up in thia drama lol.

His on screen chemistry with Han Bo Reum is convincing, although I find Ms Han’s character’s highly emotionally drawn character tiring at times.

I love this series.

John Baron Aug 03 2019 4:58 pm I read all the negative comments about clothes, makeup, actors, etc. I find the contrast between An Dan-Te and Shin Yeon-Hwa perfect. He is rich, well dressed, and confident. She is poor, frumpy, and not too confident. He forces her to be different to speak up just by being himself. Their interact is fun to watch as it is so odd and neither knows how to deal with the other. Given how she acts will he fire her before realizing just how nenecessary she is. while it isn't original it is interesting and I see it this as comedy not drama so just forget about reality and enjoy it.

mochieunha Jul 29 2019 6:48 am Personally, I don't think Yeon-hwa character is that bad like how the other comments said. I think she's bold and a person who can speak her mind. She did went overboard, a bit, but that plot make this story through. I loved Dan-te's flustered expression everytime Yeon-hwa spoke, she's cool in her own way lol. Han Bo-Reum should get more roles though, as i approved she's really good in Go Back Couple.

Orange Jul 27 2019 10:54 am I like Sung Hoon character and look forward on the next episode. For Yeon Hwa, I cannot stand her character. How can an employee be so rude to the CEO. Who does she think she is. Apart from that, asking the CEO to fetch her back t9 change is ridiculous. CEO is the head of the company and how can he spend his valuable time to fetch a low level employee back. Can a staff ask the CEO to sing without knowing him well. Yeon hwa must know her place. Her character is over board and I really do not think she fits in the drama well.

Han Cheol as an intern does not act like one. He does not striv3 and does not take effort to learn and not serious at work.

I like to see GM Park character and think he is funny.

Joybusters is a bad name for a company, as in busting the joy of gamers. It's alright if a company busts evil ghosts or scammers = Ghostbusters or Scambusters. Some SKoreans are bad at English.

Anyway, I enjoyed the 1st 2 episodes.

Han Bo Reum = ippo. Kang Byul or Miss Bae was less pretty in Ugly Alert. Makeup does wonders.!

After watching him in I live Alone I can’t stop thinking of how much stressed he was and how he could barely sleep 3 hours a day, so i really can’t wait to see his efforts for making this drama

Honestly, I don't find Sung Hoon particularly talented... they already typecast him to the nines and aren't giving him many chances to be much else but a tall rich guy of great importance and high self-worth who is a nuisance if not absolute nightmare to most around him. Baro at least gets a wide variety of roles. The most prominent role for the leading actress I have seen is the wealth-monger ex-wife of the CEO in Alhambra. This is a change at least.

The real reason I am even commenting, though, is the weird teaser (currently viewing/commenting on #2; the commentary on the plot above is from #1)... the one where Sung Hoon is at the blue desk is so disjointing to see. Are they letting the guy sleep? What is wrong with his eyes? For that matter, wow, they took the last few hairstyles and amped the jerk style of the 9:1 part with megagel up, huh? It is kind of gross looking! Why do they take young enough guys and toss the styles suited for 55 year old lawyers/judges on them, oof?! (Jung Hae In in all those NH bank ads with his bangs so elevated none come near his forehead is another example of extreme parts and aging them prematurely!) The rest of the teasers are pretty much the same... and make him look a decade plus older than her because of that hair and his makeup/skin care not being as smoothed out.

This is a key issue with low budget productions... if you don't have amazing editors/production teams, you need them to look totally flawless with someone really devoted to their makeup. If you don't have amazing makeup artists, you need great cameramen/lighting/editing staff. Most (ie Tv Chosun) opt to have less stellar editing/camera/production and start with everyone looking excellent (Joseon Survival for instance). Dramax... eh, we'll see if I can take the generic plot. It's a slight issue, too, that the industry (gaming) and the role of a restructuring specialist have been tackled quite a lot of late. I think sometimes they focus so much on getting the talent that will get them sponsors that they forget they should not honestly take things that are in the "reject, not a chance in ----" piles from other stations. They need to, at these newer-to-dramas/younger/smaller companies, get hidden masterpieces by unknown artists or "soft rejects" (the "we just shot this show and it would be overkill" sort of rejections of good scripts or the shows OCN Romance might have been doing on M+T had that experiment not fallen through bc their partner d'fever went bye bye).
