Seung-Hyun (Kim Dong-Joon) and Ji-A (Kim Jae-Kyung) attend the same high school in a small town. They are friends and also like each other romantically. Seung-Hyun believes that someday he will have Alzheimer's disease and lose all of his memories like his mother. Ji-A always stands by him and tries to give him comfort. She then leaves for Seoul to attend a university. Seung-Hyun tries to realize his dream of becoming a baker. With distance between them, their relationship becomes estranged.
7 years later, Ji-A lives an ordinary life as a office worker. One day, she learns she doesn't have much time left to live due to cancer. She returns to her hometown. There, she meets Seung-Hyun, who now runs a bakery.
