Mei Ayazuki (Rikka Ihara) is a female high school student. One day, she meets mysterious magician Chari (Yutaka Kobayashi) at an amusement park. Chari takes her back in time to Tokyo in the Meiji period. There, Chari takes Mei to the Rokumeikan building. She meets historical figures from that era there, but Mei loses Chari.
