Based on the life of gifted tenor Bae Jae-Chul (Yoo Ji-Tae). Ban Jae-Chul overcomes thyrotropic cancer & painful rehabilitation to continue his musical career.

Notes

Filming begins on May 3, 2012 and will last for 3 months.
Based on the true story of gifted tenor Bae Jae-Chul.
To prepare for his role as a tenor, actor Yoo Ji-Tae trained 4 hours a day for two months prior to filming.
Shooting locations takes place in Japan & Serbia.

irmar Nov 10 2023 4:53 pm It seems that all but two songs are old recordings of Bae Jae-Chul himsef, the singer on whose life story the movie was based. Only two are sung by someone else, Jung Sang-Hyuk. Maybe because of copyright issues, or maybe there wasn't a recording of those, although they wanted to include them because they were his great successes. I don't know about that. So here is the list of the arias and songs the main lead sings:
