Plot
Yutaka Karahashi (Ken Ishiguro) works for a corporation and has come under a cloud of suspicion for taking bribes. He then leaves on a business trip. When Yutaka fails to call his wife Setsuko Kurahashi (Yoka Wao) and then fails to return on schedule, Setsuko becomes panic stricken. After several days, Setsuko learns that her husband's dead body was found in Guilin, China along with another woman. The Chinese police rule the deaths a double suicide. Setsuko certain that her husband was not having an affair asks reporter Yoshio Kawabe (Masahiro Takashima) to investigate her husband's death.
