A high school band is popular in their small hometown in Okinawa where the U.S. army base is located. The high school band writes their own songs and they provide thrills to their listeners. The high school band is even scouted by a record label in Tokyo. Their debut as a professional band is confirmed. The band members enjoy the happiest days in their young lives, but a tragedy takes place. A girl who lives on the U.S. army base appears with a demo tape of a song.

The simple premise of the movie, the music, the performance of the cast and a touch of historical figure (US Army Base in Okinawa) made it worthwhile to watch. Anna Yamada's acting was catchy and she was able to convey every emotion of her character effectively. Such a beautiful and talented actress indeed. Hayato Sano and the rest of the cast were great as well. In the words of Mai Fukumura that " Music teaches us a lot about life." made an impact on me. I can play songs on the guitar but I'm still on the novice level. It gave me the motivation that I need to pursue guitar playing as a hobby. With that said, this movie is heart warming and has a very important message to convey. I definitely recommend you to watch it. :)
