Plot

A TV journalist with a fascination for documenting the paranormal has just come across a couple of mysterious stories that all seem to be linked to each other in some way. CKW Feb 19 2018 8:02 am Very intriguing movie. It's a low budget production but it's miles better than the high budget horrors Hollywood produces. Filmed in a mockumentary style the lore is very fascinating and true to Asian religious beliefs (As an Asian myself, I've seen similar rituals in real life and this movie represents it very accurately).

The screenplay is very complex and movie will not fully make sense until the 2nd half, but it's worth the watch if one has the patience for it. Very pithy is execution and very well thought out albeit I won't spoil anything about it the story.

It has zero jumpscares, zero cliched horror scenes, but it doesn't struggle to maintain an ambiguous and creepy ambiance throughout which many other horrors full of jumpscares struggle with. One of the better Asian horrors I've seen and I've seen a supreme lot of them (been an avid horror fan for more than a decade now).
