Izumi Yamazaki (Natsuko Yokosawa) had a dream of making people laugh and she wanted to become a comedian. To achieve her dream, she went to Tokyo from her hometown of Fukui. She formed a gag comedy duo there, but the duo failed to attract a following. She became unhappy with her situation and she decided to give up on her dream. Izumi Yamazaki goes back to Fukui. When she attends a friend wedding there, she meets Keisuke Ochi who is the CEO of railway company. Keisuke Ochi scouts Izumi Yamazaki as a potential train attendant.
