Aki (Yuna Taira) transferred from Tokyo to a school on a rural island. Tamako (Karen Otomo) was born and raised on the island. Now, they attend the same middle school.
Aki was a member of the soft tennis club back in Tokyo, but an incident caused her to leave behind her mother and older sister and move in with her father Masaya (Mantaro Koichi) on the island. Tamako asks Aki to teach her soft tennis. This inspires Aki to pick up her racket once again. Unfortunately, the area doesn't have a tennis court. Aki and Tamako try to make a court on the campus of a shut down school.
Notes
- The game of soft tennis is similar to regular tennis except the balls used are soft rubber balls rather than hard yellow balls.
