A mother, Jeong-Sun (Yum Hye-Ran) lives with trauma from the Jeju uprising that took place from April, 1948. Her son Young-Ok (Shin Woo-Bin) wants to change his name, because it sounds like a girl's name and old-fashioned. While searching Jeong-Sun's hidden past and memory from 50 years ago, Jeong-Sun and Young-Ok come to understand each other.
