Taiga Hasegawa (Eiji Akaso) was a member of his university's long-distance relay race team, but, he gave that up due to poor grades. Now, he works part-time at a small restaurant. He has gradually felt fulfillment from his job, while performing duties like adding new menu items.
Meanwhile, Park Rin (Kang Hye-Won) is a South Korean graduate student, studying animation in Japan. She is busy with her studies and she just manages to submit her assignment before the deadline, but she receives a notice that her dormitory stay has been cancelled and she needs to find a place to stay. She is exhausted mentally and physically. At that time, Park Rin happens to visit the restaurant where Taiga Hasegawa works. She is touched by the onigiri rice balls served by Taiga Hasegawa, which fills her hunger and exhaustion. Taiga Hasegawa is attracted to her pretty smile.
